    This TV replaced my tube style Panasonic which I had for 30 years and still worked. This did not last even 2 years and broke out of warranty. The remote control is difficult to use also. Go to another brand.

    Just about 18 month after I purchased this TV the screen starts to flicker and I'm advised by Best Buy that it's probably not going to make sense to repair this item, as the expense of doing so will nearly be as much as the cost of a new (Samsung?) TV.......... Samsung, also told me of the approximate repair cost and this being due to the 12 month warranty being surpassed -- NOT BAD eh.... 18 months, light use and POP?! This is the first and absolute LAST Samsung product that I will ever buy -- inferior and I'm back to SONY, where they offer not only a far superior product but also stand behind their offerings. Not so, Samsung I'm afraid. Not good for the environment...not good for your pocket either.

    So this TV cost me 400$. It’s got great black levels. My problem is I have 2 very nice TVs in my living room and basement. So nice it makes the picture on this so noticeably bad. If this is all you can afford great. If you can afford more. Get more. I’m returning this for the QLED.

    darn thing randomly turned on and off like it was possessed and almost 2 years to the date it died... ugh only thing worse that cell phone shopping is TV shopping :(

    Bought the nu6900 with hdmi ports that were not working and exchanged it for the nu7100 since the other one was out of stock. The nu7100 was just installed and it is now turning on and off every 2 minutes. This was a Christmas present for my orients and this will now be their fourth 80 mile one way trip to the nearest Best Buy to get this corrected. This is both disappointing and frustrating. Instead of it being a Christmas present for my parents it has just turned into an added stress and frustration for them. It doesn’t look like the issue can be fixed since I did see multiple people with the same issue. Not happy at all. Working on contacting someone at customer service.

    Had high hopes but we were displeased with the visual quality. The haziness around scenes and the blurry effect associated with movement was unpleasant. Decided to pay a bit more to get a Sony for better picture, glad we made the switch

    Black shadow through middle of screen after 2 year

    I purchased this hoping that it would last longer than 2 years I bought it in June of 2018 today is July 24th 2020. I came home turned on the TV and it had a block Shadow going down the center it's one year out of warranty I understand that. What I don't understand after doing a search for the problem is there have been complaints about this and the only way to takes it is to send it in and with all the complaints you would think they would either fix the problem before sending out new TVs to the stores or put a disclaimer about this TV is only going to work for 2 years. Very upset

    Half the screen is dark and poor picture now

    We've only used this TV for over a year and now there is some strange things going on with it. First it was a strange black stripe at the bottom, now the entire right half of the screen is dark and we can't see the picture. Thank goodness we got the 5 year protection plan because we are calling Geek Squad to come out and fix it. Seems like a common problem with most new Samsung TV's.

    I exactly had this TV for 2 years and one day half of my screen turns black and 2days later the whole screen is black...dissapointed But it was good while it lasted

    Product NOT easy to adjust to viewing needs. In addition. turns on, by itself, at random times. Sent it back for a VIZIO. GO with the VIZIO. Easy to set up - functions as presented -

    We purchased this television a bit over 2 years ago and it has already gone out on us! There is a big black shadow taking up half of the screen. Contacted Samsung to no avail! I will not be purchasing anything from Samsung ever again! Poor customer service! They are trying to do like cell phones and only make their TV's last about two years and then make it go haywire and expect you to purchase another! NOPE Be Advised Beware! Do NOT purchase any of Samsungs products!

    Bought this as an open box TV from the North Dartmouth, MA BestBuy and rated "New" already boxed up. I rarely watch TV, set it up, and watched it now & then. Well, started to watch Game of Thrones and noticed a weird white spot on the dark scenes...it was a freaking chip in the screen. Never noticed it before because no dark scenes. Well, since it's been a month since I bought it, told me out of luck. I'll probably never buy a TV from Best Buy again.

    Had this TV for 17 months and I can’t see it the screen image rolls down like the horizontal hold is bad like the old TVs, but there’s no knob to help adjust it. I should have learned from a bad Samsung Blue Ray that would make my Blu-ray’s skip during the flic that was only good for 3 months. No more Samsung devices for me ever again.

    We had this tv for two years and then half of the screen went dark. This TV was to replace another Samsung TV that was also two years old when the screen went dark. That TV was to replace another Samsung TV where the screen went dark after 5 years. You’d think I would have learned after the second. Alas, I did not. I know now. It’s useless to buy a Samsung TV.

    DO NOT PURCHASE SAMSUNG. Purchased this TV just over 2 years ago and has brown stipe on screen. Called Samsung, of course warranty is out. They want to charge $200 labor plus parts. Found other complaints about Samsung on line having same issues. Had another TV that I purchased for my mom and after a year it stopped working all together.

    This tv worked good for 15 days. The picture wasn’t to bad. It was really bright though, sometimes blinding when you put it on game mode. Then started to flicker green lines on the screen. Looked it up and some other people had that problem too so I returned it. Did it while gaming or just watching tv randomly then go away. It was a good price so I would have kept it if it wasn’t for that.

    Samsung 50" TV

    Very disappointed with this TV. I thought i was purchasing a quality product, but the TV lasted less than 2yrs. It has a dark shadow starting at the bottom of the screen just left of center and goes all the way to the top of the screen. After reading other reviews, it looks like this is a common problem. Purchased an LG to replace it.
