I bought this on Black Friday 2018. I bought the series 6 of this model and returned it. The series 7 is much better. I feel the color and display is crisp and clean. After almost 2 years, this TV has at least 5k hours on it and still running solid. Between Youtube, Netflix, many sports games and YouTubeTV this tv is a performer. no issues whatsoever.

Great picture - and easy to use interface for streaming/apps

The clarity is amazing. Color, depth of picture and thinness of screen are all pluses.

The picture quality is excellent and the smart TV features are very easy to navigate. We tried using a sound bar because we thought that it would improve the sound, but found that it made things a bit too heavy with the bass at times, and sometimes there was a delay with the sound, so went back with just listening to the sound directly from the TV, which has been fine. Really enjoying it!

Compared to a 5 series or 6 series HDTV picture. This 7 series HDTV has a much sharper and clearer picture with brilliant colors and deep blacks. Very few sources for true 4K tv. This HDTV takes regular broadcast and upscales the picture to 4K. Very little difference between upscale and true 4K. Cost is probably about $100 more than 5 and 6 series but more than worth it if you truly want a great picture.

We replaced all 3 of our tv's this year with Samsung 4K UHD models. Never did we imagine we would end up with a 50 inch in the bedroom. The price, quality, and features made it an easy decision. This has become our main movie room, and Samsung has become our "Go To" TV. The picture will make you grin like a kid!!!

Beautiful Picture. Right size for a bedroom. Easy to use smart tv functions

Needed a TV to replace one in my gone office. And the Samsung 50 inch has turned my office into a workspace that can also provide entertainment. After mounting to the wall, setup was a breeze. The program menu of the TV was easy to following and I was streaming content in no time. If you are looking for a new TV or looking to replace an existing device, do not walk by this one.

The value for money on this television can’t be beat. I was debating between this one and the Samsung 6 series in the same size, but the TV experts at Best Buy recommended this one because of its better picture quality and better connectivity for something like $60 more. Even the process of wall mounting wasn’t too much of a challenge. I couldn’t be happier with the end result!
