I usually wait a month or more to review a product to insure I give a fair accounting of it. But this Samsung TV is just to good to wait in the face of some poor reviews from people who didn't realize what they were purchasing or never used a smart TV, both of which require a learning curve to love it. PRO's: Ease of setup - Took it out of the double packed boxes installed the stand legs, connect the power cord, and antenna cable, put the batteries in the remote and turned it on by the remote. Next it scanned the antenna for channels and found 15 more then the old TV could fine. In 15 minutes it was up and running. Video - Great looking video. Played moves off the air and 4K content frome prime all of which is as good or very close to the much more expensive TV's.

By far one of the best TVs I’ve ever owned, always been a Samsung guy, and this TV does not disappoint, very crisp picture, great sound and colors, no lag while playing my Xbox One X, couldn’t be any happier with this TV, highly recommend it.

I purchased this TV because of Samsung's reputation and the price point at the time. Brought it home, hooked it up, and was immediately impressed with the picture. Zero issues with setup as well. I don't care for the Tizen interface all that much, but it's not the worst either. Then the problem surfaced. We use streaming services, and we record our programs, then watch them after they're done recording to avoid most of the commercials. This TV, however, won't keep EST time. It recognizes EST as that of actual CST. We can watch shows live at the right time, but they won't record to the cloud DVR until an hour later at CST programming. After spending 3 1/2 hours on the phone with Samsung tech support, resetting the TV to factory defaults six times, and doing a firmware update while listening to them deny it was the TV (and point fingers at my router and cable provider as well as the streaming services)...they finally admitted there's a problem with the TV's software programming, but have no clue when it will be fixed. It gets better...after doing some more research, this has been a problem with many Samsung models dating back to 2009-10. I plan to return this set in the next day or so, and buy another TV from a different manufacturer. As you can see in the picture, the time is set to Eastern, and the TV is showing 5:33, yet it's 6:33 here at the time of the picture. There is no way to adjust the time zone, nor DST either. If you value having the correct time for your streaming services, and plan to use the cloud DVR service, I highly recommend you look at other brands. Apparently the programming engineers in South Korea don't know what our time zones are stateside, and I'm so disappointed, because the TV has a beautiful picture.

Spectacular picture and great color and contrast, easy to operate

I recently purchased my 50 Inch Bohemoth flat screen dream machine. This is the second Samsung large flat screen that I have purchased. The picture is amazing and it is already providing me hours of beautiful entertainment whether I am watching my favorite flicks or slaying dragons on my Playstation 4. What I appreciate about this tv most is that it keeps me company and safe from the dangers of the outside world. If I was stranded on an island and allowed 3 items to have, this would definitely be one of them. Highly recommended from yours truly!

This was a purchase to replace an aging bedroom TV; set up was quite easy, as Samsung has a easy set up interface. Getting hooked up with our WIFI was not a problem either. We have DirectV, and the picture is always great. The TV seems to be an excellent performer and we are looking forward to upcoming 4K content to allow this picture to really shine!

TV fits well in smaller space. Nice picture. It was easy to set up and start watching. Happy with purchase.

Awesome Picture!, Great Colors!, And Vert Easy to Use!...

This Samsung is a steal for the quality of the TV. The colors are perfect after calibration. The sound is a notch up compared to other tv's in the same price range. Being a smart TV, it came with lots if Apps that I can use Highly recommend this TV to anyone looking for their bedroom, gym, office, or even an entertainment room.

I picked up this Samsung 7000 series for under $400 on sale. Totally worth it and then some. Great picture (for the series), sound is great w/o having to have a sound bar, and it was easy to set up to my WiFi network. Comes pre-programed w you basics and they run smooth as glass. If you are looking for a low cost 4K TV this is a sure thing. Would give it 5 * but it is an older TV and the 8000 series is a definite upgrade.

I got this TV during a sale so it was quite a good deal. It was big enough for our living room. The image quality is good. The only thing that annoys me is the remote control. I had a Vizio at home before this one and Vizio's remote control was way better than this one's, especially with the keyboard at the back for easier typing. That's why a 4-star.

Overall we love this tv so far! Easy setup. Ease of use. Lightweight. Great picture. Affordable.

Wonderful color, picture and smart features! Easy to use

Upgraded from a 40 inch insignia. The picture is great and i got it on sale. I love the smart tv functions. Ive seen other brands with a limited apps. The samsung lets me download new apps if available like disney plus. I love the samsung channels and network. i tend to watch music videos on them.

I was originally going to buy the 6900 series in the 50" but it only had 2 HDMI inputs. This is the first TV in the 50" size to have 3 HDMI inputs. The picture is great and the remote is easy to use. Set up super easy. I have watched a few movies in 4K and I honestly can't say I can notice much difference from regular 1080P HD.

As an invalid with many hours in bed with not much to do but watch stuff online, this new TV is amazing to watch. The picture is crystal clear and sharp. It's wonderful for someone who is not computer savvy because the TV recognizes which device I've turned on and I don't have to deal with source select. Great TV at a great price.
