Nice picture except I was promised that since this TV I backlit as opposed to my old set that the picture came from the side I would not have a problem with seeing during nighttime and darker scenes. I don't understand why the brightness control barely does a thing and all the options mode Picture do nothing as well. Plus now you have to spend another $500 on a speaker bar because the sound had two tracks, dialogue that I often need to turn up to 80-100 to hear, and soundtrack and sound effects that blow the windows out when that track kicks in.

Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm glad I already had a roku device because every time the smarthub updated on this tv I would have to power cycle the thing to get the streaming apps working again. eARC hdmi port is supposed to be backwards compatible with non-audio devices but doesn't work with roku or either of my Playstations (4&5). My soundbar doesn't have an hdmi connection so I can't be bothered to test it's functionality in that regard. Not bothering with returning or getting support because I got it on sale plenty cheap and Samsung customer service is just awful. Two stars because it works enough that it's barely worth keeping
