    sound can get low and I have to put on captions. I have a sound bar but that doesn't help when this happens

    Don't waste your money on this tv. It cracked on the lower left portion of the frame and when I went to adjust it, there were permanent red lines vertically. This time I am trying TLC to see if their tvs are up to the hype.

    The TV set lived 18 months only.

    The TV set worked nicely until it suddenly died (the TV turned black while we were watching it) exactly 18 months after the purchase date. I tried every measures learned from YouTube and nothing has worked. Today I am going to get a new one, NOT A SONY TV.

    Do not get this samsung TV, the UI is the worst ever. It turns my Xbox on every time i turn the TV on, even when I unplug the HDMI. I loved samsung TV’s but the UI added with the lies samsung cust Serv, I am done

    I was happy to get a refurbished TV and save some money, on the website it was saying ("Excellent Looks brand new Includes all original parts/accessories. Usually contains packaging"). But after waiting a few more days for delivery, my purchase was delivered. As soon as I saw the box, I knew nothing good would come of this. The box was missing half of the foam supporting the screen, the TV was cracked, and the screen was peeling off from the back. I don't understand how BESTbuy sells it with the "Looks like new" tag. I returned it. I guess my advice is that if you're thinking about buying open box TV, it's best to pick ip up in a store and check it out there.

    The screen would go black intermittently while watching TV. It happened multiple times during the first 14 days and i had to unplug it and plug it back in to get the picture back. I had to return the tv during the first two weeks due to this ongoing problem. Got same model samsung as replacement. I am having same problems with the new replacment Samsung TV.

    Very difficult to navigate. The instructions are not helpful. Support is sometimes helpful . I wish I had bought a different brand, Sound fluctuates.

To further assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your TV and remote, you can download the Q60C TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the Q60C TV under QLED 4K TVs > C Model Lineup to download the guides you would like.

      The e-Manual and Remote Guide are both also embedded into the TV itself under Menu > Settings > Support.

      To ensure you’ve got the latest audio quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

      You may want to adjust Intelligent Mode, as this allows your TV to recognize and analyze surroundings, noise, content, and your usage patterns to provide the best audio experience.     New Samsung 50" QLED flat screen

    I just opened and installed this new TV today. It has lines running across the bottom of the screen - manufacturer defect. Now I have to go direct to Samsung to resolve - Best Buy is no help because of their 15 day return policy. After phone/tech diagnosis with Samsung, they now have to send a repair technician out. This is a defect. I hope to get a full refund and or an exchange - we'll see.

    This was a replacement for the previous Samsung that suddenly died after only 18 months of use. The replacement died the same way immediately upon installation, so we had the installers take it back with them. We purchased a different brand to replace the two Samsungs.

    This TV is horrible for sound, we can barely hear it with it turned up to 100. All of my other Samsungs were loud and clear at 30. Now we are stuck with it.

      Hi MaryjaneP,

      I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the Q60C TV screen going black when watching. While awaiting service, please try these troubleshooting steps:

      1. Press the Home button on the remote.

      If the menu appears, the TV is powered on but is either not on the correct source or not receiving a signal. If the menu does not appear, the TV may be having power issues.

      Check the red standby light, a little red light at the edge of the TV that you aim the remote at. In normal use, the red standby light is on when the TV is off (indicating the TV is on standby), and the red standby light is off when the TV is in use (or doesn't have power).

      2. Confirm that the TV is set to the same source as the external device.

      For instance, if your cable box is connected to HDMI 1, set the TV source to HDMI 1.
      If the TV is set to the correct source, but there is still no image, unplug and reconnect the AV connections one cable at a time from both ends of each cable. If there's any damage to the cable, it will need to be replaced.

      After reconnecting the external device, please turn it off and back on.

      3. Test the HDMI cable.

      Some TVs have an HDMI cable test. Some models only have this test after a software update, and older models do not. If your model does not have this test or is not connected by HDMI, skip to the next step.

      The test is designed for HDMI cords less than 6 feet long and may not give accurate results on longer cords.

      To perform the test, make sure the TV's source is still on the HDMI setting for the cable you want to test, and then navigate to Settings > Support > Self Diagnosis > Signal Information > HDMI Cable Test > Start Test.

      If the test says the cable is bad, replace the cable. Service is not required.

      4. Test different external devices.

      The final thing to rule out is the external device you're using. Try connecting a different device or using a different source port.

      If the TV can display a picture in any other setup, then you've ruled the TV out as the cause of the issue. Keep trying various setups until you identify the device or cable that is not working and troubleshoot or replace it.
