    The Samsung remote and Smart TV interface is hard to navigate, I would much prefer Roku.

      To ensure performance is fully optimized, please make sure your TV is running the latest firmware. To do so, go to Settings> Support> Software Update. You can easily update from there if necessary.

    The TV just didn't get bright enough.Returned it and bought au 8000. Brightness is superior to this model.

    I have been having problem with this tv ever since I bought it. Keeps going to smart tv instead of cable. I am very frustrated !!! I want cable only!!

      Hello

      Thank you for purchasing the TU690T Samsung TV. I am sorry to see that your experience has not been ideal.

      To turn off the feature for Smart Hub and Last App Auto run, follow the instructions below.

      Step 1. On the remote control, press the Home button and use the Directional pad to navigate to Settings.
      Step 2. Select General > Smart Features.
      Step 3. Disable the Autorun Smart Hub function.
      Step 4. Disable the Autorun Last App function.

      Turn your TV off and then back on again. From here the Smart Hub and any apps you have opened will not automatically open when the TV is turned on going forward.

    Worse tv ever. So excited to have home. Wouldn't pick up hardly any streaming services except Netflix. and not then all the time. I know it wasn't the wifi. We have 4 other tvs. and I know how to use the wifi. Wouldn't let me add channels either. Not a smart tv,,a stupid one.

    Received the Samsung 50” TV quickly, as we are over 200 miles from a Best Buy store. Working with Best Buy was quick and efficient. Will order again from them. Set up the TV and everything worked great. Good quality picture, like Samsung setup & all the various apps available!

    I am tottally in love with this t.v. I got what I paid for and then some. I did put it onto a mount super easy set up. Pros:great picture, ergonomic Cons:The auto power on and off with gaming consoles does get a little wonky at times.

    Easy to Navigate remote, with numbers to tune in over air channels with HD antenna! Smart features amazing when using wifi. Picture is good on a varity of show types. Beautiful crisp colors!

    It’s annoying how after one month I still haven’t gotten my order, worst still, nobody is saying anything. Almost feels like I didn’t pay for it, like it’s a free item.

    Signature upon arrival did NOT do, left tv outside laid down in front of doir in a damaged box went to plug it in and TV won't even turn on have to return to store

    I have no issues with this TV! We had purchased another TV and decided to return it because it kept losing connectivity with our internet. This TV has been great so far and we are LOVING IT! It’s a good size for a good price. The picture quality is clear and the volume works well. Samsung has a reputation for being a good TV manufacturer, so we are more comfortable with the purchase and expect this TV to last a long time.
