I did need to get a converter to connect the DVD player. And we can’t add the old sound bar but really don’t need it. A minor issue is that we have it in a cabinet and the feet on the TV do not adjust to let us move it closer to the opening of the cabinet, it sets back a few inches. Our last Insignia only lasted 4 yrs which sad to say is too common for many TVs now. We got this on a Black Friday deal <$300.
