No Smart Touch Remote or Flash Player - great pic

This TV does have a great picture and quick transitions between apps. Streaming videos from Amazon worked great. I bought a smart TV for the smart options - internet and videos. I did not know until I bought the TV and tried to view a video on FB that you can not play Flash Player videos. In addition, there is no smart touch remote available for this model so navigating through the internet is not as efficient as it could be.

Love this TV. I replaced my Sharp Aquos 4K tv with this one because of how bad the input lag was on it and I do a decent bit of gaming. This is a great all around tv and you can't go wrong with the price for a 4K.

Very happy with the TV - after a software update (a USB stick came with the TV, Samsung helpline was very helpful) it indeed was very easy to set up and to connect to my wireless router. Outstanding picture and colors. Very glad that the sales person in the best buy store also pointed out that I needed to buy a UHD cable to connect the TV to the cable box.

Haven't tested it on any 4k content yet, but setup was easy and it looks good. Very light compared to my old flat screen.

    Football bummer

TV is awesome for the price. Movies, blu rays, directv, HBO and showtime awesome. But being a huge sunday football fan, games are blurry and studder. Guess it's the refresh rate on fast motions. Even after changing the default settings as recommended, still not as clear as it should be. Other than that tv is good.

Excellent color reproduction. Very bright and sharp picture. I returned a Sony 810C which had terrible colors and dark corners. Looked as if you had tunnel vision while wearing sunglasses. After returning the Sony I noticed most of the Sony TV's had this look. I am so happy I chose this Samsung. Sound bar helps with sound. Don't think most thin panel TV's have great sound, although sound is much better on this model than the Sony 810C. Motion blur is not that noticeable and is great for watching movies. Don't watch that many sports but what I have seen looks great. Would highly recommend this TV. Would recommend the largest size you can use and afford. You won't be sorry.

    Excellent 4K TV

This TV is absolutely perfect in every way. I only have ONE complaint and that is that there is quite a bit of motion blur, but if you don't want motion blur get one with motion rate 240 not 120. Other than that, buy this TV because you will not regret it. Samsung has always had the best TV's and their 4K tv's are no exception.

I bought this television in January of 2016. It has become a paper weight 2 years and 2 months later with regular use. Screen went dark two days ago. Spend your money else where with a more reliable brand.

Not all of the apps on the TV will load and within the first month I have spots within the TV that doesn't work. This is the first time I'm highly disappointed with anything I've bought from Samsung and Best Buy.

I can't stress enough how good a tv this really is. super easy to set up as far as syncing my cable and wifi. signing in to hulu and Netflix was simple enough. picture quality is better than going to a theater in my opinion although it won't stop me from going every month (sometimes more). the quality is really there in this 55"!! 3-5 stars for sound...it's good enough without a fancy soundbar but I can only imagine how EXTREME this set up would truly be. OMG!!!! YOU WON'T REGRET THIS PURCHASE. I bought this on 9/18/15 and today is 12/1/15. I wanted to give a fair and accurate rating and review. update-I have since added a $120 Samsung soundbar from wally world, not too shabby, a TIVO Roamereo and I still say it's impressive.

    Ok TV

The picture on this TV can only be described as garbage in garbage out. If the picture quality going in is good you will get a good picture. If not then you will get a horrible picture. In my area 1080 is about what the providers offer, so paying extra for the UHD was wasted money. My biggest issue with this TV is it is supposed to be able to connect to the internet and various sites on the internet. I've owned this TV for about two months and in that time I have had to reset the TV five times to connect to Netflix. It probably would have been more frequently than that, but I have better things to do than mess with the TV every time I want to watch Netflix. I still have access to the rest of the apps, just not Netflix. I can still access Netflix through my Xbox, just no access through the TV. The ability to access Netflix from the TV was one of the selling points. If I would have known Samsung and Netflix didn't communicate well, I would have purchased another brand.

Even though it isn't my preferable Plasma TV, once you get the picture dialed in and turn off that terrible artificial refresh, this is a great value.

Replaced a 4-year old 48" Samsung and could not be happier, even though I opted for no 3D this time. Picture is pristine and setup was simple. Doubt I'll even switch from a Samsung.

I've owned just about every make TV but this is my first Samsung . Great picture & would recommend to all. Remember a true 4-K isn't available to any unless you have Direct TV. Cable companies don't have it as yet.

    Bad motion blur and grainy

I bought this TV due to reviews and Best Buy associate recommendation. After giving it a week to get used to it, I'm returning it tomorrow and hopefully exchange it for a better TV. The picture is unrealistic, grainy and has significant motion blur. We tried various settings from the A/V forum and other people's recommendation but could not get it the picture to stop having a grainy type picture along with major motion blur. The set looks nice overall and the smart features are good but the judder on movies and sports is enough for me to repackage it and haul it back to best buy. I'm not sure how it gets such great reviews unless everyone here has had previous poor TVs or we are just spoiled with plasma quality pictures.
