Horrible

Was a no brainer buy since I was replacing my old reliable Samsung that recently gave out. The reviews online were good. So we bought this tv, worst decision ever. A couple months after having it, it started acting weird. The closed captioning locked on the screen. I unplugged the tv for ten minutes and turned it back on. It remained locked for several days even after several times being turned on and off from normal use. After a week it finally corrected itself. Then a few days later we randomly lost our audio. I thought it was just the channel, but every channel was without audio (we only have farmer vision). Turned on then off a couple times and it corrected itself. I went to best buy and told them about it. I did not buy the geek squad protection, however they had a promotion when I bought the tv and I managed to get it replaced for free. I was delighted. Well the best buy I bought the tv from is 20 minutes away as well as a distribution center. The best buy that delivered it is well over 1 hour away. The tv they delivered looks the same, but I believe it's an older model. The remote is a downgraded one from the one I had before. The other tv had picked up 43 farmer vision channels and this replacement only picks up 20. I had geek squad come out because I bought a warranty for this tv. He told me I was sorry out of luck. I had this tv replaced in January and I'm starting to have minor issues with it now too. Powers on weird and takes a little longer than usual, and sometimes randomly cuts out in the middle of a program and has a message that says mode is not supported. To top it off, I had Samsung call and ask me to review this tv. The kid was not the nicest of people and when I tried to tell him about the problems with the tv, he hung up on me. Apparently he really didn't want a review if it was negative. I'm not impressed with this tv, it is not worth the money. At least I have a 5 year warranty on it. I will say Geek squad and Best Buy were wonderful through the process, even though I think this tv is older. But I will repeat, stay away from this tv! I have other Samsung products (phone and previous tv) and have never had such horrible problems/ glitches. Maybe I'm unlucky and got two duds.

Very good TV for the average family

6series 4k tv

Horrible

The first one I bought had a flicker in the screen so I took it back. Thankfully is was under warranty. The new one just went completely grey about 2 months after the warranty expired of course. If you are going to spend that much on a tv you would expect it to last longer than 14 months.I would definately recommend going with another brand. I will never buy a samsung product again.

The 4k UHDTV gives everyone in my house headaches an eyestrain.... Knew it was the tv cause it only happens watching it.... Only had it 24hrs an its goin back for a normal Samsung LED in the morning!

I'm taking it BACK

Do NOT connect this TV to the Internet as it starts sending your information to other firms for money. This was a BIG investment for our family and returning it tomorrow. Nice TV, sad they feel the need to do this to their loyal customers. Read more about SMART TVs then I did to find one that does not spy on you and meet your family needs...
