Picture quality is excellent

At first skeptical about the "ultra HD" given that no channels are broadcasting in anything other than 1080; however, the up-verting does make a difference. On some programs almost seems like 3-D, very clear picture. Only downside is the sound which is corrected by installing sound bar or surround sound system. Hooked up to my existing SSS and it's fine. One caveat, if you purchase the Geek Squad service make sure they do everything they promised. Noticed the guys like to get in and get out fast barely explaining what they are doing. Had to bring them back a second time and the system still is right. Just be forewarned. Would recommend the TV but be cautious with the Geek Squad.
