So far so good. Easy set up with amazing picture. Sound isn't as bad as I expected after reading the reviews.

Got the Hw-j450 sound bar to go with it. But sound was good enough without it. With that positive said, I really can't figure out the big deal on this TV. I'm running it right now off an antenna, some pics are clear others blurry. I expected more with the nanotechnology 4k UHD hype. Has an automatic dimmer which I feel is a little off. In daylight the pic is brighter, in a darker room it gets real dark. Hard to see almost, was told to turn it off. With a TV like this, it shouldn't have to be disabled. Stand is plastic and cheap. Price has went down drastically I understand from $1599.00 to $999.00 and still falling. My guess is the TV isn't as great as the manufacturer even expected. I'm told by some I should of got the Vizio 60" 4k and would of saved about $300.00. My final assessment is its a TV with average display. Doesn't seem much different than a lot of others out there. Overpriced by at least $200.00 at the $999.00 price. I have it, and I'm ok with that. As long as it doesn't have problems along the way. ....

Finally Samsung has improved smart hub. Picture is beautiful.

I love the clear, sharp picture and easy menu. On sale so price was great. Had a little trouble connecting to Netflix but customer service 800 number was great.

I read exclusively about this tv prior to purchase. The sound quality is low from reviews I read, but since I specifically use my tv for gaming, and always wear headphones, this was not a factor for me. Plus I'm sure if you have surround capabilities in your setup it will be great too. I needed a tv with fast frame rate and this one is exceptional for my uses. It does not swivel however. But most tv's are wall mounted anyway so even that can be fixed.

Love my 55 inch tv. Clarity is great. Love Samsung products.

After reading a lot of online reviews I had higher expectations for the picture quality of this TV. We went from a giant tube TV to this Samsung 4K Ultra HD, so I thought the picture would look better, more often. It looks good on HD channels for close ups, but as soon as there is movement and smaller images across the TV there is fuzziness/pixels. Some commercials are really bad, such as when there is large text on the screen, the edges of the text appear to be moving/shaking. The TV was easy to set up as stated in other reviews. The Sport Setting is a great concept, but it stays obnoxiously loud when commercials come on and it is almost unbearable, so we will not be using that feature even though we watch a lot of football and other sports. There is also a thing that happens that I have learned is referred to as "the soap opera effect" for HD shows and movies. It makes the actors appear as if they are on a stage and almost coming out of the TV. It is kinda cool, but also distracting when watching a good show. We found a way to turn it off in the picture mode setting I believe. I gave it a 3 because I had high expectations for the cost and the upgrade we made with this TV and it does not meet my expectations for great or excellent picture quality on a regular basis. It is okay to average in my opinion for $1000.

For the price a paid this TV is amazing. Got it on sale for $999. The UHD is clear and bright, full colors and overall beautiful picture. It turns on quickly and the smart TV portion is easy to use and full of options.
