Best Samsung TV I've ever owned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture on this tv is simply outstanding. I originally bought a 4K LG that was $300 cheaper but when I set it up within 15mins I knew I was taking it back. It had way to much blur while watching fast moving scenes. If you like watching sports and fast action, this Samsung tv is great for that. Excellent color also. I'm happy with my new tv

Samsung 55" TV
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is not showing as well as in the store. Would like some training on setting it up. The delivery personnel only get it working and leave the rest to you. The low rating is because I wasn't shown how to setup and use the features.

Okay TV for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price, this was an okay TV. But had to return it because there was like a crease down the center of the screen. Replaced with a different model.

From 480i to...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Maybe my opinion is skewed because my last TV was 10 years old, but this thing is unreal. Unreal as in too real. But too real is awesome! I was watching Gotham last night and seeing things I didn't know were possible to see on a TV; like the individual characteristics of a bubble in a carbonated beverage... After, I decided to watch some football, which was so vibrant that I was up for 4 hours longer than I should have been. The guy at Bestbuy had me sold on this one over the other when he made the 13 million vs. 1.07 billion color upgrade between the other UHTV, and the idea of crystals sounded cool I guess. Maybe other TVs are the same, but I must say I'm very impressed by this one.

Samsung is the best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to buy this TV this morning but I couldn't pass up the price on the 60 inch UHD LG. 899. That was a mistake I went home and that product had too much motion blur. Thank goodness I was able to bring it back and I got this like I intended in the first place. I have a Samsung phone and I had a Samsung tv... so why I would switch to something else was dumb, This is a great tv. color is bright, no motion blur and Just what I should have bought to begin with. Do yourself a favor buy Samsung you wont regret it.

Ok here's what you need to know
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I've been waiting to get a 4K tv for the past year or so but I wanted to wait for the crazy prices to come down some. So they did, and I purchased the Samsung 55" 4K led tv (un55js7000). I couldn't wait to get it hooked up and see the clear picture I've been waiting for! Well I was disappointed... It didn't look much better than the 1080 Lg I already owned so I did some reading up on the HDMI cables and here's what I found out - 1. Most standard HDMI (1.0) cables only refresh at a rate of 30fps. Their bandwidth is also limited. 2. Make sure your tv is HDMI 2.0 ready 3. If it is... Purchase The HDMI 2.0 Cables!!! They refresh at a rate 2x that of the 1.0 cables and the bandwidth is anywhere from 15.5 gb/s to 28 gb/s! 4. I'm honestly not sure and haven't goofed around with it yet but I hooked up the tv and dish receiver up with 2 separate cords to my audio receiver. 5. ENJOY!!! So overall the tv is great. Great picture quality. Haven't noticed any lag/blur and the smart hub is awesome. The 4K videos on YouTube are amazing but just the suhd up convert is great in itself. Also for you gamers.. The tv is rated 93 out of 100 on some of the top gaming sites. Input lag is around 27 m/s. Definitely won't be returning this. Great product at a good sale price!

Great while it lasted
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lasted two years before the 1st dead pixel showed up, right in the middle of the screen, now it has several and is barely 2 1/2 years old. Quite sad for an expensive TV and a Samsung to boot, I have had good luck with their products and am quite the loyal customer but I won't buy another large screen TV from them.

Nice Picture But Some Annoyances
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture on the TV is nice, the price was good...I've only had the TV for a few days now, but have already encountered some annoyances that make me question the decision. First, the standard sound settings are awful. Some adjustment (playing around/trial and error# and it's better but not great. The picture took some tweaking too #I ended up on Natural#. Next, the remote will not control the cable box or other external devices, even though the manual tells you how to program it! I tried and tried, only to call support and was told this particular TV doesn't have that feature... then why on earth include a remote with those features AND have programming instructions the manual? Ridiculous! Watching standard TV #some cable channels#, I kept noticing the picture skipping, like hiccups. I thought I'd have to return the TV! I did a little googling and read a recommendation to turn the input lag setting to game mode. That actually helped but degrades the picture quality. I shouldn't have to set my TV to game mode in order to watch cable TV! Apps are lacking. There's no Showtime Anytime. Really? The web browser keyboard is awful. The Enter key does not activate so you can enter two lines #username then password) - you can only select Done and it then submits the page, telling you invalid password. I cannot log into any web pages on the web browser. Poor design there! I will have to hook up an external keyboard to make the web browser useable. Does the picture quality make up for these annoyances? I am not sure yet. Probably, given the price!
