Customers are saying

Customers appreciate the excellent picture quality, ease of use, and vibrant colors of this 55" 4K Ultra HD TV. Many also praise the smart features and find it to be a great value for the price. However, some customers note that the refresh rate could be improved, leading to occasional motion blur. A few also mention concerns about the remote control's design and stand stability.

    >>> :( Bad Experience I expected lot from this tv still its a basic SUHD Tv. Weird colors in tv some times and some times sound gets off in all the apps. Once restart the tv the sound is back. I observed this three times and picture thing two times. I recorded in my phone for the proof to Best Buy. I don't want to go anymore with this tv and i won't recommend you guys if you wanna go with SUHD. Go with some thing better. Hope my review works to New Customers. Regards Kank

Samsung Edgelit Displays Tons of Light Bleed

This TV looks great when its showing brighter content, but during movies or tv shows with darker scenes, you'll notice terrible light bleed on the edges of the screen. Its caused by the edge-lit backlighting this TV uses. Only the most expensive TV's use direct backlighting, but edge-lit should be better than this. It looks awful.

    Two returns

The first TV that I brought home had a blue dot on the screen. I returned that one and brought home another TV. The 2nd TV has a white area on the right hand of the screen. It looks like I will be returning this one as well. I do like the picture on the TV and gaming looks wonderful. I am going to speak to the manager of my local Best Buy store before I get a third TV.

Tv was great for 18 months then went black. Geek said it was cheaper to replace then repair.. My Sony 5 years and LG 3 years have never given problems!

    Approach With Caution

Two days after I picked this item up I returned it. I noticed greenish/yellowish areas in bottom corners, and edges of screen, where pitch black should be. I then purchased the Samsung 55" Series 8500. As soon as I opened the box, the difference in quality (example-stand) was astonishing. I recommend forking over an extra few hundred for the better model. The 8500 KILLS the 7000.
