This TV has everything you could want in features. 3D technology works with 3D movies (with 3D blue-ray players) and Samsung 3D glasses. Smart feature means built in operating system and browser. You can download apps within Samsung's (and not others') free app store. You can stream from Windows Media Player in Windows 10 to the TV, the TV will prompt you to accept. It has WiFi connectivity, so it is easy to connect to your LAN. I use hard-wire Gigabit wires so that there is no lag. I also chose to use a Roku 4 for most streaming over the Samsung OS (my preference, not necessary). 4K Picture is great. There is an argument for getting a larger size TV if you can afford and fit it if you are getting a curved TV, since the larger the screen the greater the benefit of the curve. I find it does not negatively affect my viewing experience. Theoretically someone sitting at the far edges may see a distorted image. I use this with Samsung sound bar and blue ray player. I recommend the OEM controller that comes with new TVs. Comes with One Connect, which is a proprietary connection to the TV via wire to a box that sits in a more convenient location and connects to everything else via HDMI, USB, Ethernet and optical connections. I rate this highly. TV has a USB connection directly on it in the back, and can be mounted to a stand or wall.

This tv is wonderful. The picture is terrific, the "curve" provides wonderful viewing, it is truly a great experience.

Super Sharp 4K. Love the 3D. It's like I'm there. I'm glad I finally got a tv that I wanted and not that would do.

Great TV. Menu for features takes a little getting use to. Screen is a little darker in night scenes than hat I think it should be, haven't found the adjustment yet. Overall I am very satisfied with this tv.

Setup was easy and the picture and sound are incredible, without a sound bar and subwoofer. Still exploring the features. A keyboard that works all functions would be nice. The connections are easy.

This tv does everything as advertised. Picture quality is way above our old projection tv, the universal remote was an added plus and simple to use

This tv has so many features and the resolution is the best in this price range. With octo-core processor, the web browsing and apps run flawlessly. Streaming content from different sites are easy

I wanted a 4K TV that also had 3D, but with many manufacturers phasing out the 3D features on their newer models I decided to take the plunge with this. The curve is a negligible feature, but the main difference between this one and the step above, the JS9500, is how the HDR is implemented. This model uses edge LED dimmers where as the 9500 is a full array LED panel, meaning there are LEDs evenly placed behind the actual panel which makes for a much more accurate HDR representation. Thus, it also adds on an additional four figures at least to the price. That being said, the HDR on this model is still fantastic. The Revenant in 4K looks astounding. The 3D is active, and while it only comes with one pair glasses (!?) extras are only $20. The glasses use watch batteries, and last for a long time. I haven't had to replace mine yet, and I've watched a good 12 hours of 3D movies since owning the TV. A minor note: This TV has the 240hz refresh rate which can give movies the dreaded "soap opera" effect. It can be disabled, but during 3D movies I can notice it being active. Then at other times I can see its not active. Kind of a weird bug, but hardly a deal breaker. This set comes with a box that all your devices (receiver, bluray player, etc) plug into, and supposedly, an owner can simply purchase a newer version of said box as a form of "future proofing." We'll see if that holds true, but it does help minimize all the cables going into the TV and organize them. Granted, there is still a limited amount of 4K content, but it you are looking for a 4K TV without giving up the 3D feature so you can still watch your 3D blu rays this an excellent candidate to consider.

Great picture quality, easy remote control, user friendly features and connections to other devices

We bought another 2 samsung tvs. Love it. Had to get sound bar for this tv because sound was not loud enough. That is my only complaint.

Delivers a great picture upgrade even if you're not watching in 4K. The smart hub makes navigating simple. TV itself has good sound if you don't have a sound system. 55 " great size

This tv is incredible. I was hesitant about getting a curved tv, but this tv far surpassed my expectations. The Blacks are deep the colors pop and the sound is great. After a few calibrations this tv makes any program, film, or sporting event look amazing. People love it when they come over and that's always nice to have. I definitely recommend this tv as a starter 4k.

I love the Samsung tv. It wasn't what I went in store to buy, but ended up with it and I love it.

I previously owned a 46-inch Samsung TV and my original purchase was the 48 inch model I was very happy with my 46-inch Samsung but wanted to get into 4K but when I got the 48 inch model it seems smaller than my 46 I'm assuming due to the curved nature of the TV so I returned it and got the 55-inch model and couldn't be more happy it's perfect size for my room and with careful calibration 4K content is absolutely amazing.

You won't be disappointed in the clarity and function of this TV. I purchased this as well as the 65" and both are spectacular !!

Best display I have seen. Interactive with add ons such as sound bar that make hook-ups easy. WiFi is ineffective for high screen resolution. LAN required or cable on demand.

love it; got a great open box deal. only problem is minor lip synch/sound that no one can figure out....is it tv or cable box?
