Love Samsung this is my 5th one love 4 k and couldn't beat the price very happy

I have recently had my Samsung UN55JS9000 delivered and installed by Geek Squad. Everything went well as expected. I chose this TV over the OLED for three main reasons: future upgrade-ability with one connect, proven technology, and price. I am extremely pleased with the picture quality and program-ability of my set. Since I mainly watch sports, Samsung has the faster processor compared to OLED. There is limited 4K content and the technology is still evolving so to me it makes sense to have the option of purchasing a new one connect a few years down the road to upgrade the brains of my TV to the latest and greatest 4K standards. To give OLED their due, there picture quality and 3D rendering are phenomenal. The Samsung picture is also amazing the contrast and colors are just a notch below OLED, but OLED technology and reliability are up for debate. I have read that colors begin to fade over time, especially the blue. Another flag regarding OLED technology is that the major TV makers have not adopted this new technology in a big way. Having one TV hang in my living room the Samsung displays an awesome picture that I am confident will last for years to come. Given that the OLED costs $500 more (make that $1000 more with the recent price reduction on the 55JS900) it was an easy decision to go with Samsung. I am extremely happy with my purchase and quality of product from Samsung. A few other bonuses that I have found are that the touted spacial enhancement has been highly noticeable at my home. I could not really tell at the store, it could be because the picture settings are not optimal. Watching 3D and 4K movies at home it was very impressive. I have also read and hardly noticed in the store that if you are not sitting perfectly in the center that the 55JS9000 picture will look washed out. I have not found this to be the case at all. My picture looks great no matter which viewing angle you watch from.

I have to reset this tv more than 5 times every week, lost communication between the control and tv and 3d glasses, have to pair then almost all the time, only good thing about this tv is the beautiful colors.

Really love this tv so much great price also. Only down side is most networks not broadcasting in 4k as of yet

I love this tv is extremely good the only problem was that they didnt have the pairs of lences for 3d.

The TV is perfect for size and contrast. Nice 3D view. It also come with quick responsive smart features

Well , let me start by saying i am a frugal shopper in that I like to get the most for my hard earned money. This time around I had 6 different tvs in my living room to check the quality and pictures one at a time . All the tvs were 55 inch lcd. tv 1 was the sony xbr850 c, very poor sound from the tv which was the main reason i returned it. #2 was the samsung un6203, I really liked this tvs picture , the sound was way better than the sony and the price was right. Its shortcomings were ugly build and slow smart features and menu . #3 was the samsung un6350 which was the 2014 mid range 1080 unit. The picture was not quite as good as the 6203 for movies but very close, the smart features and menus were much faster though. #4 was the 2015 samsung js6200. This tv is the current equal to the 6203 but was no where near as good a picture in my opinion. #5 was the samsung js 7100. I really liked this tv a lot but the panel turned out to be an iso2 chinese unit and i was not comfortable with not having a true sammy panel in my expensive tv. #6 is this js9000. I felt the price was right as I got a free 32 inch samsung tv and free hard drive thrown into the deal. The panel is samsungs own and the picture is phenominal. Sound is ok and much better than the sony. I know three of these units were 1080 and three were 4k but I read a lot about viewing distance and not needing 4k if your more than 8 ft. away form the screen. That was my main reason for the comparisons. Let me say that I sit 14 ft. away from my screen and assure anyone on the fence to get a 4k tv. There is no camparison with clarity and quality , even when watching regular cable in 1080. Im glad I did the comparison and love my new 4K suhd tv!

Totally impressed with picture quality even at 1080p.the up scaling feature is Amazing.

I spent a nice hunk of change on this tv and it looks good but I'm not blown away by it.

Still getting to learn about the camera.I need to spent more time on the book and Disk

The TV is very good and easy to use, and was a reasonable price at Best Buy. The only set back is it may not be much better than the 'non-curve' version.
