We returned a 60" Samsung tv that was a Black Friday bargain but had no features. Talked with a best buy employee and this was our best option with the features we wanted. Easy set up and great picture! We also bought a curved soundbar and the set up was easy. Both are great! The tv sound by itself is okay, but with sound bar, is wonderful!

Besides quality & the curve adds a whole new meaning to a different enhanced way of viewing TV.

I bought this TV when my 52" Samsung plasma got two, thin, black horizontal lines in the picture. I went to consumerreports.org to begin my research. This 55" curved LED/LCD 4k TV was a recommended buy. I had no opinion on curves vs flat. Two weeks post-install, I love this TV. The curve is very subtle but has two advantages: 1) it has virtually eliminated my problems with glare. It helped that I upgraded my wall mount from a fixed model to one that swivels but there is something about the curve which seems to defuse glare; 2) If I am watching the TV dead-on, the curve contributes to a feeling of immersion. From being wary of the curve, I am now a fan. Who knew?!! I would also recommend springing for the Geek Squad to calibrate this TV. These TV's are delivered with the brightness and contrast set to an unbelievably bright white picture. I am comfortable with adjusting the brightness and contrast; no so with the other adjustments. I might have them come back. I was warned in the consumerreports.org review that motion blur was only "fair". I set the motion control to Standard and haven't noticed a thing. One very small problem - the Smart TV doesn't have an icon for Hulu.

to start, the last tv purchased for our household was 10 years ago. So, needless to say, I'm continually surprised by the clarity of this television, I see so many more details. Example: in watching a show the other day, a delivery driver walked a package up to the front door and you could see the bar code on the box! The crispness of the color is impressive as well. My family and I are very pleased with this purchase.

If you are looking to upgrade you may want to give this TV some serious thoughts. Picture quality & functionality get an A+. If your going to make a purchase like this, visit the people at Best Buy, spend a few extra dollars for the quality that the store carries versa the big box stores. You won't regret spending the little extra.

I looked for along time before I bought this tv . This tv has been everything I hoped it to be. The curve lets me see it when not sitting right in front of it. The 4K makes it clear . It's easy to get to my Netflix. Great for the price . And Best Buy is the best.

I really like this set for the most part. It's the perfect size for my living room. Lots of inputs to connect all my devices. I haven't watched any true 4k content on it yet, but it upscales my 1080 content very well. Their "sports mode" really does seem to enhance the picture for the football and soccer I've watched so far. I'm not sure the curvature really makes that much of a difference. It might be a little bit easier to see the far edge of the screen when I'm at an extreme angle (such as washing dishes at the kitchen sink), but when only slightly off-center, I just don't notice much of a difference. The first set delivered to me stopped working the day I set it up; it suddenly turned off and wouldn't fully power back up. I'm not reducing my rating based on that; every product is going to have a few bad apples, and Best Buy was amazingly helpful about getting a replacement to me without hassle. Unfortunately, I'm still having a problem with the replacement set. Every so often, I lose both audio and video, but just for a few seconds, and then they resume as normal. It's completely unpredictable; I've seen it happen four times within a minute, but other times I've had it on for several hours without a problem. So far, I've only seen it when watching my Xfinity X1 DVR, never with another device. That would suggest the DVR is at fault, but then again, it's the same box connected to my previous TV, which never had the issue. At this point, I'm still trying to eliminate variables, which is difficult since the problem sometimes takes hours to reappear. In any case, I'm not yet ready to definitively blame the TV for my problem. One note I'd like to share with potential buyers: if you use a Logitech Harmony remote like I do, make sure you disable the Anynet+ feature (Samsung's implementation of HDMI-CEC), or your Harmony won't be able to switch inputs correctly.

Picture color and clarity edge to edge is amazing. My 18 year old son helped me remove the tv from the box and hold the set steady on our sofa as I assembled the stand. The assembly is easy, however the size could be awkward for one person to handle. I don't know if the curved screen is more gimmick than real but the price was the same or less than other 55 inch flat screens, so thumbs up on value.

The picture quality is amazing, crisp and clear and the colors are vivid and stunning from SD to 4k it doesn't get any better. After seeing a curved and flat TV on display, one above the other at the Best Buy store there was no doubt which was the better choice. Easy and intuitive setup, but my WiFi router is a low cost older model, about eight years old, connected an ethernet cable instead, flawless streaming. Connected an indoor HD antenna and tuned in 20 channels, so with streaming services and local broadcast I have everything I need. Thanks Best Buy and Samsung , well worth it.

The overall quality of the TV is excellent. Installation and hookup was very simple.

This tv has the best picture ever, the same with the sound. No need for a sound bar because speakers are in front, but a sound bar is a plus. Before this Samsung I had a Vizio which only lasted about 8 months before I had to replace it. Samsung is the way to go.
