HDMI PORT ON CURVED TV STOPPED WORKING AFTER A MONTH

This is my first Samsung.....and wow I've been missing out! what a great TV..I gave it 4 stars only because the remote is small...but don't hesitate ..buy this TV.#.1-Samsung.#..2-smart TV..#.3-4k.#.4-curved..at $999.99......... ..what more could you ask for? Great sound...color...all around just a great TV..I LOVE it!!!!!!

Terrible experience all around...Best Buy and Samsung customer service is below satisfactory. This tv was defective after 3 weeks and I am still trying to get in contact with Samsung service team....they will not return my tv until their THIRD PARTY service team comes out to look at it, and after a week of daily phone calls to that service team, I'm STILL waiting for an appointment. I will never shop at Best Buy or purchase Samsung products again. Best Buy management unwilling to help and Samsung has THE MOST terrible customer service personnel who were extremely unfriendly!

Picture quality is unreal! for $999 this is an ABSOLUTE STEAL. At first the TV was $1199, but I got a price match for $999. This is SO CLEAR it's crazy. The curved aspect makes the viewing experience appear bigger. 5 STARS and FULLY WORTH IT. Sports are not the same with just any TV...this thing is CRYSTAL CLEAR.

I've always had Samsung TV's but this time decided to try the UltraHD in Sony, returned it after two weeks and went back to what I know, Samsung. This is an excellent TV with good sound provided by many sound options, I even took my soundbar off, didn't need it. The picture is outstanding and so far I love the curve, we'll see how it fares further down the road.

I have had tv replaced 3 times , screen jumping, shutting off and coming back on by its self.

I have a 1080p LCD HDTV that is 8 to 10 years old. It has much superior picture quality.

Bought this set to upgrade my 55 led also made by samsung was a little leary about how much better the pitcher was going to be.The sales person told me i would see a big improvement and she was wright my blue rays are now amazing and my regular dvds are like blue rays now.Just make sure you get the 4k cables so that you get the best pitcher.Easy set up this set is very user friendly was up and runing in about a hour love the wifi was on the net in a flash.

Very blurry. Tried all the settings and still blurry. When people are still, picture is super clear tho..

Originally bought an LG but returned it and got this one on an open box deal., The movie quality is great and the curved technology is really cool. The curved it good if you are in front. Not ideal watching from the side. Can't beat the quality for under 1k. So far so good.

This tv is amazing great picture easy to use easy to set up, the remote is awesome I love the pointer on it, it makes everything so easy to use. I have used other smart tv's but this one is the best one I've used so far I would definitely recommend this to anyone

OK, we are only one day in on this TV but I can tell you it is nothing short of fantastic. It's been used as a bluetooth hub for media, to watch movies and TV, as well as Wii-U gaming and I can report 100% satisfaction. We had a 7-8 year old 720p LCD that we upgraded from (never went 1080p) and the jump to 4k capability is well worth it. It handily connects to our Galaxy Android phones via the app, and we're instantly watching videos and picture slideshows, and listening to our music playlists via bluetooth. For us it was a big jump and more than just a TV upgrade, it is a great centerpiece for us concerning all things media. Coupled with the Samsung stereo bar and subwoofer system it has transformed our living room experience!

Love the TV and the curved screen. I bought this as an alternative to a 4K computer monitor. Yes I play my computer games on a 55 inch screen... don't judge :). Once I hooked up the computer though I found that the native resolution was not 4096 vertical lines. Matter of fact, the specifications even on the Best Buy site state less but the TV title says 4K, it's the UHD that is the killer. Something to consider when looking for true 4K! Otherwise great TV.

The picture is good but not great. It's a bit confusing when looking at the refresh rate. At first glance you think this TV is 120 refresh rate but it is only 60. If I was back at the store I would make sure I was purchasing a 120 refresh rate TV. It's priced good for a curved TV.

The picture is amazing. Samsung is a really great company. BUT we have had our TV for less than 10 days and it has lines in it! Taking it back today hoping that the new one will not have lines....Over all its a great tv. the curve shape makes it seem even bigger!!

After spending $500 for Surround Sound and 4 hours trying to connect it I was told by Samsung support that this TV DOES NOT SUPPORT Stereo or Surround Sound. What a waste of money.

TV was easy to set up and with a NetGear router established WIFI connection easily, and the connection works well. Smart controller when pairing with cable box controller also worked easily. The menu for the TV controls as they appear on the screen is alittle hard to follow at first and the starting point in the numbers box as opposed to the top of screen selection banner, requires a few additional clicks to get to where you are wanting to go. The picture is very sharp and clear, but as is often stated, the quality is directly related to the quality of the input source. Out of the box the picture was ok, but I did spend a fair amount of time trying to work out motion blur, while balancing the "soap opera effect." Motion Blur and picture judder can be a factor with this TV. It is annoying that Samsung put the settings for "Dynamic, Standard, Natural, & Movie" under the "Picture" settings in the Menu column, but you have to look elsewhere for settings under "Sport" & "Game". Game setting can be very handy for reducing the blur issues after you adjust the various setting for the picture when in this mode. Colors are very good and deep, but blacks at certain night scenes tend to fade. I don't think the curve makes much difference in the picture quality, and I certainly don't think it improves the viewing from side angles. It does cut down on ambient glare from lighting sources that may be on either side of the TV. Overall, a good TV, that could be excellent if the motion blur were reduced and the position/placement of the menu items were better thought out. I would recommend, but with the caveat to check out the non-curved equivalent, and other similar brands.

After an exhausting search for a new TV for our family room, we selected the UN55JU6700. There were no fewer than eight other serious candidates we compared this one against but, ultimately, pulled the trigger because of my previous history with various Samsung products. We could not be happier. Unbelievably simple unboxing and setup combined with crystal clear 4k picture. We could not be more pleased with the purchase.
