I was shopping for a TV for what seemed like forever. The movers broke my plasma so I was so confused when looking. I love this guy. It works well- I like it picks up my DVD player without an HDMI and the quality seems nice. I wish the screen cast was better but that might be the current place technology is at.

The TV has been fantastic! This is my first 4K TV and I can’t believe the difference between this and 1080p! Also Best Buy was great about price matching! I found the exact same TV for a little bit less on a competitor website and Best Buy priced matched it with out a single issue. Thanks guys for a great experience:)

Purchased this TV as a gift for my parents and they were blown away by it! This 8-series Samsung has excellent picture quality and looks great with 4K Netflix. For HDR content in movie mode, set contrast enhancer to High and increase gamma one tick to increase the brightness and give the picture a little more punch.

Fills the space and the picture is very good. Easy set up.

Bought it right before Thanksgiving, great price. I checked online for best Samsung tv & they recommended 8 series. I’m happy with purchase. My old tv was Samsung so expected good quality. It’s a litter Techie for me but I was able to configure with soundbar. It also allowed me to project from my phone using WIFi. So far so good !

This is a great TV loaded with options. I had previously read and watched many reviews before purchasing this TV. I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. If you are on the fence about this TV you should have no worries. Great picture with a ton of settings, smart TV interface and menus are also easy to use. Once again great tv

The picture is very clear and it was easy to setup.

BB staff was outstanding, very helful with warriety process. Answered all my questions concerning new TV, etc.Drivers were grat. I have one concern about my new RU800 TV. These new systems aren’t plug and play, more complicated and for older individuals they are complicated. Seems to me that BB should offer a set up service when a advance TV system is purchased. Yes the manufacture does provide a built in set up programs but there is so much more than just going through that process. I know that The Greek Squad has a yearly program to deal with these issues but I feel that when a customer buys an expensive TV, set up installation, etc should be included free. I don’t have an issue of buying a yearly package but to have to pay an additional $50.00 for set up and another $50.00 for sound bar pairing, if necessary seems much. I can understand the charges if the item(s) weren’t purchased directly from BB but when they are, set up should be included as insurance so the consumer is well set and comfortable with the purchase. I have many small issues but to have to pay $200.00 for yearly and then another $100.00 seems much! So, I am forced to work directly with the mfg, friends, etc to resolve things that should be included when buying a $700.00 set. This is very time consuming and takes away from enjoyment of the unit. I buy most of my electronics from BB but I could buy from a Big Box shop since the service would basically be the same and pricing many be lower. I personally like BB for many reasons but now with the advancement of electronics entertainment systems and mfgs providing limited assistance, the consumer is stuck, NOT RIGHT. There is going to be a point that I will need another system, 70” unit but why would I buy from BB when I possibly could buy cheaper, if installation was included, it would make a difference. The picture quality on this is great. The placement of the speakers makes it necessary to have volume up at a higher level than my other Samsung 4K. Sometimes it turns itself back on, not sure why and I have yet to figure out why cable box is on all the time (normal) but when turning on tv it shuts off cable box and then tells my there is no source and I have to turn box back on. Other than a couple quirks with the remote, again I have not taken enough time to play with settings, I'm happy with it.

Very nice TV. The installation took way too much time. Sent one guy, too big for one person, he called in another person, then decided we did not have the correct wall unit. Came back the next day and got it installed. The remote control was not working correctly, call again for another person to come our and fix. Works great now.

Television was easy to set up, picture quality is great

I was having a hard time deciding between this tv and the 55inch Q6 series. Tbh I couldn't really tell that much difference between the two. I think the Q6 will upscale better but I'm not really interested in that feature Overall this tv looks amazing I love the smart features and it looks amazing. Highly reccomend

Wow! We didn't know what we were missing! The colors are so vivid and the sound is amazing! We hadn't had a new TV in 12 years and the difference in picture quality is simply AWESOME!!! Not only that, all of the smart tv qualities has made having this new TV an enhancement to our overall technology experience.
