Compaired it to a few others in same price range from instock models. Went with it. Install was easy picture seems good. Not a fan of the remote but thats not a deal breaker. If it lasts 10 years ill be happy...so far so good. With new TVs you pay for what you get...But do you need the extra stuff. This seemed to be right in the middle.

Please know that the RU8 offers several preset picture modes for easily optimizing your viewing experience:
1) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
2) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
3) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
4) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
