Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Our children got us an open box Samsung tv several years ago that was great, but it recently developed a problem and was replaced under warranty with this brand new Samsung Premium UDH TV 8 Series. I was told that this model was one level under the QLED. Of course, the image at the store was spectacular. Not so much at our house. In fairness, it could be the DISH reception. But that didn't effect the older model in the sound quality - it had much better sound. We could listen to anything at around a volume level 13-15. With this newer "Premium" model, the volume is never below 35 and usually closer to 50, unless we use a Bose Solo 5 speaker. But that means turning the tv volume down completely to avoid an annoying delay.

It took some time to go through the setup, but once done, the tv and remote have been working well. The picture is terrific.

The problem was a flickering on the screen during high action scenes. It would freeze or skip which mad it unwatchable. I had to take it back and exchange for a different series.

The guy named Brian from the Geek Squad was awesome, He explained everything very thoroughly. My TV so far has been very enjoyable.
