We love our 55 inch -8 Series tv. Easy to set up, fantastic color ! Very good picture from any angle ! We loved so much this tv that we went back to buy another one for our den ! We recommand this tv.

This is the best television that I have ever purchased. Super easy to set up. Picture is unreal. I could not think I could get a better tv for the money.

All the features are great! Picture is crystal clear. Remote is too minimalist for intermediate user. Needs better shortcuts diagram in TV instructions. I had some problems connecting it to an older 3.1 VIZIO soundbar. Everything else including the Black Friday pricing was beyond belief!!!!!

The images are sharp, clear, and realistic. Right size for a one-bedroom apartment. Four HDMI input sockets are very useful, especially when you have multiple game consoles.

Great picture and ease of use. I like that it has four HDMI ports for various consoles etc. Got the sound bar to accompany it. Love the big screen.

We are really enjoying our Samsung 8 Series 55" television. The picture is beautiful. This our first "smart" TV, so it is quite a big change from our other Samsung TV which we also like. I did my homework and read reviews online from sites that evaluate electronics and computers. This TV has an actual refresh rate of 120 mhz, and as I understand it, this means that the pixels change (or refresh) at a rate fast enough to create a high quality image, without even a tiny amount of blur or ghosting. 4K is new to me, but I also have a 4K video camera for my work. This TV is 4K. I'm looking forward to reviewing some of my videos on this screen.

Minus a few scrapes, this TV is excellent. Wonderful picture and sound, easy to use and program. I would definitely trust the items for sale via Open Box on bestbuy.com.

We were looking at the 7 series when we went to a few stores to check out new TVs. When we went to Best Buy, they had the 7 series TVs next to the 8 series TVs. For $100 more (during a sale), the 8 Series provided a great picture and is compatible with bluetooth peripherals. This was the first TV we purchased in about 10 years and the remote was differen than we were used to, but that quickly fades. The added bonus of Samsung internet channels was a nice surprise. The TV does sometimes come on without pressing the power button, but I think it only does it when the TV is powered down and the "source" resets itself. No big deal. One downfall is the known video compatibility issues with the Nintendo Switch. When we hooked up the switch, the TV flickered. We read online it was due to the colors put out by the Switch not being fully compatible with the Samsung TVs. We didn't know about it until Christmas morning. Everything still looks great, just could be better.

After I purchased this 55” I was so impressed with the picture quality that I went back that same week and bought the same class for my bedroom TV. After my Mom visited she then bought this same TV and a friend who was visiting mentioned. What is different about this tv? It is like it is 3D and so amazingly clear? True!! I love that all of the apps are integrated. No need for all of this streaming sticks or the time it used to take to get to other apps or YouTube. It is immediate. I super love that. My experience of this TV had prompted the purchase of the same style with at least 3 other people so far.

I have an extensive, successful history with Samsung TV's. This new one replaces a smaller, normal HD Samsung TV. The size enhances everything, and the 4K takes it to a new level.

The Good -This TV will display lower resolutions like 1920x1080 and 2560x1440p at 120 HZ using Nvidia software out of the box. - *confirmed*. Great for gamers. I have not tested the TV yet with a newer HDMI 2.1 8k Cable to see if it goes higher than this as well but have heard reports of others getting it to go faster at high resolutions. -The smart software is nice if you are into notifications. Every time you plug a device in, you get the option to select etc. etc. - With a little tweaking, the picture quality is decent - Compatible with rear mounting systems. - Samsung is a mainstream trusted brand. - This is as good as it gets until you start spending upwards of 1000$ on better Tech in your smart TV such as OLED. The Bad -The remote is kinda lame, it makes you feel like you are in star trek using a tazer. It does not have a dedicated number pad on it. -Glare does affect the screen, can be countered with correct room lighting.

Excellent picture and sound. Easy to install. After installing leave on for approximately an hour for picture to perfectly adjust on its own.

Was going to purchase a LG tv and the sales guy talked me into this tv. Great picture and sound. Easy set up and voice control. I would definitely by another one.

Great tv. Looks sharp and great color. Only thing I dont like is there is no menu or settings button right on the remote. You have to use the voice feature for certain things.

This tv is amazing and has a beautiful picture! Very easy to sync with samsung phone and easy to use buttons for Netflix, amazon video and hulu make streaming a breeze

Screen size, clarity and easy of use make this an outstanding TV for our purposes. Since we've had it such a short time, I guess my best review is "so far so good."

I enjoy Samsung tv’s as they are user friendly, easy to set up and come with easy to use remote controls. This tv is all of that and has a great picture.

I owned a plasma before and loved the picture. This one is great as well, just different. Samsung put some thought into making it easy to setup this TV. Well done!
