Great picture, easy to use interface, and many apps built in. 4 hdmi ports helps to plug everything in and switch easily with the included universal remote.

Tv was a replacement for the same one, a year older, that got damaged while moving it. Went in looking for a replacement and needed a certain base to be able to use my current stand and the tv's I was looking at didn't have what I need. Sales rep solved that problem with a mounting stand that did fit my stand. Then I was looking at different tv's and found basically the same model I had only a year newer at a great price, actually less than I paid a year earlier. Sales guy didn't try to pressure me into a higher priced model even though he could tell I was really considering it.

Was going to buy same tv I had before but after seeing the picture on this one and the price was not much more I decided on this LED 8 series. What a difference

I researched it and the price before hand and I am very glad I picked this one. The TV is easy to use and has everything you might need. A great choice

We were looking for a larger tv than what we had and decided on the 55" class. It was one thing to see it in the store, but at home, it was even better. The set-up instructions were easy to follow. We were surprised that when we turned it on, it quickly connected with our set box. The color is bright and objects appear to be crisp and clear. We watch a lot of NASCAR and found that now, we could see all of the action and easily follow the running order across both the top of the screen and down the side. Since we debated getting the next size down, we are definitely happy with this size.

Wonderfully crisp, accurate picture. Easy to set up, instructions or very easy to understand. Remote is capable of operating, tv, sound bar and dvd player.

This new TV sure has a great picture and is a great addition to my living room. The picture is outstanding with great colors and brightness. Really enjoy it.

Got the TV for my husband. He loves it!! He’s wanted a bigger tv & this is Perfect !!!! Easy to install & set up. Can’t wait to see football games this season.

The color rendition is very much improved over my old Samsung set. The picture quality is great. The sound quality on the built-in speakers is pretty good. The TV was fairly easy to set up, just run through the set-up menu on either your smart phone or the TV.

First 4K TV I have owned, love the picture quality. I have the TV sending the sound out to a receiver via optical, that works great. I do it this way as my receiver is pre-4K generation, so doesn't pass through at 4k. My only complaint is that the bluetooth doesn't seem to work that well with my Sony 1000XM4 headphones, there are occasional sound dropouts and I'm usually no more than 10 feet from the TV. Not sure if I can blame the TV or the Sonys, but the Sonys work great with my phone.

For the most part, I'm quite happy with this TV. The only issue so far is the fact that you have to be careful about where you place it because the screen does reflect the light from not only the room, but outdoors if you have a lot of windows. I had to move a floor light. Other then that, the picture is quire clear and crisp and it had plenty of HDMI outputs for my various plug ins.

I was looking to replace the TV in the living room and the Samsung 8 Series LED was perfect in every way; price point, functions, size for the room, etc.

So far I love this tv! Picture is great and I can’t wait until my cable company catches up with 4K. I can’t really tell about the sound because I bought a Samsung sound bar at the same time, so I have never really heard the built in speakers. Learning the Samsung menu’s was very easy. I am replacing a few years old LG. Which is still a great tv, but wanted to try 4K in the main watching area. I really like the ease of the remote too. Much easier than the magic remote from LG. I would recommend to anyone especially with the soundbar from Samsung, they work in perfect harmony.

I'm not a techie, but I can say that this TV surpassed my expectations. The features, quality, and picture clarity make this TV a great deal.

Even though cable is not up to speed with 4K, you can access programs like Netflix, YouTube that have 4K which is incredible. The sound is great

I upgraded to the 8 series because of reports of problems with the 7 series dropping wifi. Then my 8 series started dropping wired network! I called Samsung support (# provided in reviews to another customer) and they answered right away. The automated system was actually helpful and got me to a technician who logged into my TV. The first set of troubleshooting didn't fix the problem so I called back. The next tech changed some "behind the scenes" settings consumers can't access and fixed the problem. VERY HAPPY with the ease, speed and capability of Samsung TV customer support.

Bought this after buying the same model in 65", for my daughters new house. Very pleased with the ease of setup, picture quality and many features.

The product was easy to set up and the picture quality is very nice. It works well as a internet-enabled device as well.

Easy to set up, the directions were easy to follow. After setting up the TV I was a little disappointed with the TV picture quality, it didn’t feel to have the sharpness nor the detail that I saw in the store. After playing with remote I realized that the factory settings for Picture Mode was called “Standard”, to me, this resulted in a dark muted picture. When I moved the picture Mode to “Dynamic” the picture popped, it was exactly what I wanted. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking for a great picture without breaking the bank.
