I went into the store to buy my tv. The sales person was very nice. I asked about the tv being close to the wall and she said that would work. So I bought it with a bracket for the wall and installation fee. And then the disaster began, 2 trips from the geek squad not prepared and asking me to buy extra wall units and cord etc. my tv is now 3 inches from my wall and I’m not pleased.

      Hi TGeo,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your CU7000 TV’s image quality. The TV will upscale as best as possible any content sent to it. The closer your content is to 4K, the better the image will look on the screen.

Here are some tips to help improve picture clarity:

      1) HDMI cables are recommended for optimal HD viewing.
      2) If you have an analog cable box or satellite box, upgrade to a digital cable box or satellite box.
      3) Change the output resolution of your devices, such as digital broadcast receivers, IPTV, and set-top boxes, to UHD or HD.
      4) You can further adjust your sharpness, brightness, contrast, color, and more by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings
      5) Choose a Picture Mode by going to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode and choose from Dynamic, Standard, Natural, Movie, or Filmmaker Mode.

Should you ever have questions or need help with TV features, specs, or operations, we are here to help. You can call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

      Hi JeffA,

I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV turns on and off repeatedly. Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:

      1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.

      2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it), or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.

      3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, then plug it back in.

      4) If the power cycling allows enough time between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes, depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.

If you ever have questions or need help, Samsung is here for you! Give us a call at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. Our LiveChat agents are also available by clicking on the ‘Support’ link on our website.

      Hi DavidM,

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know that your Samsung CU7000 TV is not working with any of your Bluetooth devices. I have a few troubleshooting steps for you to try, which may resolve the connectivity issue.

First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.

Please know that when connecting Bluetooth devices, they must be paired using the TV's Bluetooth function. Go to: Settings> All Settings>> Sound > Sound Output > Bluetooth Speaker List.

      - If the TV fails to find a Bluetooth audio device, place the device closer to the TV and select Refresh.
      - When you turn on a paired Bluetooth audio device, the TV detects it automatically and then displays a pop-up window. Use this pop-up window to activate or deactivate the Bluetooth audio device.

You can check the Connection Guide for detailed information regarding connecting your speakers. Go to Source > Connection Guide > Audio Device > Bluetooth.

When connecting via Bluetooth, there are a few things to keep in mind.
      1) You can't use Bluetooth devices and the Wi-Fi Speaker Surround Setup feature simultaneously.
      2) Compatibility issues may occur, depending on the Bluetooth device (A Mobile exclusive headphones may not be available, depending on the environment).
      3) Lip-sync errors may occur.
      4) The TV and Bluetooth device may disconnect, depending on the distance between them.
      5) A Bluetooth device may hum or malfunction: a) When a part of your body is in contact with the receiving/transmitting system of the Bluetooth device or the TV. b) When the device is subject to electrical variation from obstructions caused by a wall, corner, or office partitioning. c) When the device is exposed to electrical interference from the same frequency-band devices, including medical equipment, microwave ovens, and wireless LANs.

If you continue to have issues, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8 AM - 12 AM EST, seven days a week. LiveChat with an agent, as well as manuals, software, and warranty info, can be found at the ‘Support’ link on our Samsung website.
