With XFINITY, make sure to disable CES on the cable box and the TV. Otherwise the HDMI needs to unplugged and plugged in periodically. Or use XFINITY Stream instead.

Solid and dependable, but not stereo quality audio

Just not thrilled with the audio in the past few purchases. This model has to be turned up quite high in order for my elderly mother to hear distinctly.

This remote is awful!

Their is no mute button and in order to mute the TV, you have to press the volume button up and hold at the same time. It doesn’t work and it’s frustrating. Also, the remote is very thin and gets lots easily.

Regarding the remote, to MUTE the sound, you need only to PRESS it in. If that same button is pressed for more than 1 second, the Accessibility Shortcuts appear. You can find more information regarding the remote on pages 24-26 of the full user manual. You can also learn how to use your remote directly from your TV. Just go to Home> (left directional button) Settings> Support> Remote Control Guide.

Too smart for its own good

I have had nothing but problems integrating with my Pioneer Surround Sound Amplifier/ Receiver. I had a Samsung 46 inch TV for 13 years hooked up to the same receiver/ amplifier and it worked fine for all those years. With a Samsung Smart TV, I have ongoing problems.

Completely Inept Company

Had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with customer service, texting images, before being informed that a new remote would be mailed in 10-20 days. They then mentioned that Samsung had a smart app which could act as a remote. What they failed to mention is that I can't set up my TV with this app and I spent an hour downloading the app, wasting time on it, being data mined, before calling tech support again and discovering the previous individual helping me was incorrect. So, at the end of the day, I still have no functional remote, I lost three hours of my day on the phone for no reason, and Samsung unnecessarily collected a lot of my information - and my TV still doesn't turn on. I wish I didn't pull the whole thing apart and could just take the thing back to the store now.

The only issue I have is the lack of a more sturdy stand. We are not mounting it on the wall and the feet that came with it are a little weak.

Samsung has been great to me and I love their TVs.
