    Samsung support says it is someone else's problem

    The wireless connection stopped working suddenly. Samsung support says it is a problem with the internet provider. Samsung will not send someone out to fix the problem until the internet provider fixes their stuff. Ridiculous. We also had a problem where the Samsung sound bar worked well with the smaller Samsung TV but did not work with the larger Samsung TV. The problem, they said, was that the Samsung TV software version was not compatible with the sound bar. And they did not know when or if the s/w would be fixed.

      Some users may experience interference with WiFi or Bluetooth signals caused by the alignment of the power and OneConnect cables.

      As for the compatibility issue, here is the step-by-step setup guide for 2017 Samsung soundbars:
      1. With the Soundbar and TV turned on, connect the HDMI cable (not supplied).
      2. “TV ARC” appears in the display window of the Soundbar main unit and the Soundbar plays TV
      sound.
      • If TV sound is inaudible, press the (Source) button on the remote control or on the right side
      of the Soundbar to switch to “D.IN” mode. The screen displays “D.IN” and “TV ARC” in sequence,
      and the TV sound is played.
      • If “TV ARC” does not appear in the display window of the Soundbar main unit, confirm that the
      cable is connected to the correct port.
      • Use the volume buttons on the TV’s remote control to change the volume on the Soundbar.

    WEAK SCREEN!!! Broken Screen within 2 hours

    The TV is wall mounted on a full motion mount (Sanus {BL213-B1] Premium Series Full/Motion TV Mount for most 40 84 TV's ). The Installation was easy the set up went well. BUT when we pushed at the top and bottom VERY thin metal trim the screen popped under a slight pressure. No excess force was used. I have reached out to Samsung, they are sending a technician out to assess the break but I have been told that I WILL BE RESPONSIBLE for the repair.

    Never buy Samsung

    I would never buy another Samsung TV. Mine stopped working after 3 years and they have the worst customer service. I have been on the phone with them three times for over an hour, and they have been very rude, refusing to give me a supervisor. The promised me they I would receive a call in 1 - 2 days from when I did not receive a call back and they refused to even discuss the matter with me. I have never experienced such poor customer service.

    On the lower end of the screen, from side to side, there appear to be about six lines which sometimes makes whatever you’re watching look terrible.
