Had to buy adapter which uses HDMI. DVD player takes other, have to use old coax connection now for cable. If you have several things to connect, verify how many you need and how they need to connct when choosing your tv. Everything else about tv is very good!

Great TV for the price but poor APP software

The only complaint is that the built in direct TV or HBO apps have defects and requires constant system resets (reported commonly from online forum searches). Finally gave up and spend $ to buy a stand alone roku device).
