Great bedroom or small livingroom tv.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a 2017 Samsung 70" 4k Smart TV in the livingroom, and I give it 5 stars. That TV came with Samsung' One Remote. That is the best remote ever. This TV, which was purchased on Black Friday is a 2018 model, and was bought for the bedroom. The picture is great, looks good, Smart TV functions are great, has plenty of good features and customizable settings. Built-in speakers are good for what they are. However, I recommend a quality Samsung Soundbar to pair with it. I use the M550 with the 9000s rear speaker kit and it is excellent. Gaming on this tv is great, I use Xbox One S and it looks good. Refresh rate is a little slow, but for the price of this tv, I think it looks good. I really would give it a 5-star review based on the TV alone, not including price, and customer service, etc.. , but I absolutely hate the standard remote it came with. Hate it. Its a 2018 model and didn't come with the One Remote.. what a shame. I had bought a new One Remote to replace the piece of garbage standard remote, and should have done my research beforehand, because apparently this TV is not compatible with the One Remote. That is my number 1 biggest con or complaint about this TV, other than that it lacks some features that my 2017 model TV has in the settings. For a 55" TV under $500 this is the best possible option still.
