Very happy with this tv

Setup was easy as was syncing the TV with my smart things app on my phone. Makes it really easy when I misplace the remote. The picture quality is wonderful! My boyfriend turned to me while we were watching a movie and said "Thank you for buying this TV!"

The picture quality, for this price point, is pretty darn good. However having only two hdmi ports just doesn’t cut it. Yes they make boxes to give you more ports but that’s just another piece of equipment lying around. Second, the App Store is pretty limited. At this price point I kinda wish I went with a Sharp due to built in roku. Again picture is really great but feel a little restricted from a connectivity stand point

Few issues that i can thing of are: 1. Settings menu is super super slow which is a known thing in samsung TVs and it gets slower as your TV gets older. 2. Applications like netflix shut downs unexpectedly. not sure if it an application issue or TV fireware issue. 3. In-built chromecast is not that great (which for me is major flaw). I hook up chromecast to TV and use it instead.

Best Buy had a good sale on55 inch so I bought one for my bedroom. The size is perfect. The price was excellent. The picture is awesome. And the performance of the tv has been sensational as well. I especially love the sleep timer and automatic shut off functions. I would definitely recommend this 55 inch Samsung tv.

Good for the price

The things that kept me from giving a 5 star are that the remote is outdated and buttons are too close together and not very ergonomic. I ended up buying a knock off little black controller that the higher end Samsung TVs use on Amazon to replace the one that it came with. Much more simple and user friendly when navigating with apps, etc. The other complaint is that it occasionally loses my WiFi connection and I have to reset it.
