Amazing tv. I am not sorry at all that I bought this tv. First I wanted to stay in my budget $5-600 but I realized that if I can finance this tv, I can do the $997 I paid for. Great image, easy to navigate, the sound is ok but I purchased a Klipsch sound bar for it, and the two of it are just a winner. Very impressed.

I think for the starting line up of Samsung Qled Tv's ..This is a great option for its class. I previously owned the LG SK8000 Series TV and I really loved that TV. The colors were amazing but the 1 flaw it had were the dark scenes were horrible with a grayish look to it. As soon as I got this TV I noticed a big difference!!! Of course you must first adjust the color settings and other things to your liking. When watching in full HD or UHD the colors are amazing so bright and vivid. It might not be a dramatic change depending on what tv you have but its definitely a change you can see and love. The blacks are amazing and the dark scenes are great for the class..Overall this TV is amazing for the starting line up. I can't imagine how much better it looks with the higher end models.

Purchased this tv online without having seen the picture quality in person. Went off reviews and some various things I found online. This TV is fantastic. I mounted it with the Sanus 213 full motion mount. This purchase was effortless thanks to Best Buy. Ordered Fri AM, delivered next day at 11AM. The appointment manager is also helpful in seeing what time the delivery should be expected. Picture is sharp. Sound quality seems fine. I’m sure for the money a soundbar would be ideal, but for right now the sound isn’t an issue. Splurged for the silver HDMI as well. Worth it.

Love the auto game mode. I just turn on my PlayStation and the tv turns on and goes to game mode. Picture is beautiful perfect for gaming.

My living room TV recently broke so I needed a replacement. After buying a ‘60 SONY and not being satisfied with the picture quality, I replaced it with this ‘55 Samsung. I have been extremely impressed with the picture quality and brightness. The only potential negative is the sound quality is weak- I use a sound bar with this TV. Overall, I highly recommend this Tv.

So, quick backstory: I was in the market for a TV for my bedroom, as I already had a good living room set-up (49” Sony Bravia 4K HDR). I’ve been very satisfied with my Sony, and didn’t think to replace it, at first. But then I thought, if I’m going to get another TV, why not get one that’s comparable to my living room TV and put my Sony in the bedroom? So, off I went to look for said TV (END BACKSTORY). I originally looked for an open-box deal when a BB salesman showed me to some Samsungs, having told him my budget constraints. I’ve always thought Samsungs had great-looking designs, but wasn’t sure of the picture quality. The salesman then showed me the QLEDs and how they looked in comparison to a similar Premium HDR model. The first thing that stood out to me was the color, by far. Compared to the OLEDs which have absolutely RICH color depth and amazing black levels, I realized that the QLEDs didn’t have as near the same quality as the black levels of an OLED. But man did the color depth on the QLEDs impress! So I took a bet on the QLED, hoping that the impressive color display would be the satisfying factor, and fully knowing that the TV I looked at was a display TV, and purchased the Samsung Q6F QLED 55”. The first thing I do when I get a new TV is calibrate it via my Xbox One X, which is my main source of entertainment. The Xbox will always suggest turning off any contrast enhancers, enhanced motion options, and any special LED backlighting. Instead, it focuses more on adjusting brightness, backlighting, color, and gamma. It will also recommend that you switch the picture setting to “Movie,” and the color temperature preset to “Warm 1.” Through this process, I’m able to tune the TV to where I’m able to have very defined whites, as well as blacks and shadows. I wasn’t really able to adjust much of the black levels, as the option is locked to “Auto.” Regardless, after tuning the TV to Xbox’s specs, both gaming and movies look spectacular! Much better than I anticipated. Having originally planned to get a TV that was comparable to my Sony, I wasn’t expecting to get a better quality TV for near the same price! CONCLUSION: A great TV for the price! I gave 4 stars because, while the color is fantastic, it experiences downfalls in two areas... 1. Black levels. Obviously nowhere near OLED quality, but not bad considering where the TV makes up for it. The lack of being able to adjust the black levels is slightly frustrating but it’s not a deal-breaker, by any means. 2. Motion. Overall motion quality is on-par with my Sony, which is quite fluid in most applications. There are, however a few games that struggle to maintain that fluid motion, and will instead appear blurry when the camera pans on either a game or movie. That being said, it has only shown these issues in a small number of games/movies. A good benchmark is playing Planet Earth II (4K) and overall the picture quality is breathtaking. 3. This review agrees with the consensus: Game Mode is terrible. I’ve kept Game Mode off and have defaulted to the settings mentioned earlier. Xbox One X will not automatically turn Game Mode back on after switching it off, unlike the PS4 Pros that have been mentioned to do so (unless Samsung has already fixed this for the PS4). OVERALL: If you’re not quite in the market for an OLED but want something with better quality than an average 4K HDR display, then give this TV a try! It’s been a week since the time of this review since having purchase the QLED, and I’ve been very satisfied so far. Not bad, especially now that it’s on sale!

THIS TV IS AMAZING. I have literally no complaints besides the legs and apps ! I HATE how most tv have legs now days... I couldn’t use my regular tv stand. The apps are kinda buggy but I play everything on my ps pro anyway so doesn’t concern me lol But anyway It’s like you are in the movie you are watching or the game you are playing. It’s crazy. Best purchase I’ve made in a long time. I’m literally speechless. And don’t care about lg oled lol this one is good enough for me.

For the price, this is an excellent TV. The picture is amazing, it's feature rich, and sound quality is very good; I highly recommend it. Also, it comes with a free Samsung Smart Things Home Security System (a $400 value), so I couldn't pass up this deal.

I absolutely love love love this tv. The picture quality is amazing. I have a PlayStation Pro and when I play it on this tv it looks amazing. I have experienced the tv going black for a second to turn on game mode, but every time I play it only happens twice. I hope I continue to love this tv because I see a few people weren’t having much luck with it. For me the tv has been great, a huge step up from my Sony.

I spend 3 months researching TVs. I compared prices, sizes and degrees. I didn't know until I started asking questions, that there was so many levels to 4K TVs. I play a lot of video games and watch movies. For anything I wanted a TV to do. This is the most Bang for the buck. I'm very satisfied!

This TV is the best for it being the lower model of QLED. Sharp picture, sound is great coming from the 2 speakers and subwoofer built in but I do have a sound bar and a sub paired with this tv through optical. All and all, worth the price and I look forward to many of good years with this TV.

Replaced sony xbr 10 year old HD with 4k Q tech night and day difference in color and image quality is huge. Would recommend this product to any one looking for 4k image sound from tv speakers is pretty good to.

Picked this up with my tax refund for my bedroom and couldn't be happier with purchase. Great picture and sound. Best quality TV I've ever owned by far.

Nice TV but after only five years, I already have a spot of screen burn or something on the screen. These should last longer for the money.

Soo Samsung where to begin I originally wrote a review about the Samsung NU8000 which made a clicking/ticking noise after weeks of jumping through Samsungs hoops and writing emails to their corporate office which did work by the way in the end and must applaud the fact that they gave me a refund. I wanted to at least give them another chance and exchanged and upgraded to this Q6F. Guess what this one makes the same clicking/ticking noise too! Out of the box they look almost identical other than the silver trim. And the picture really isnt anything better than the NU8000. So that was the last straw for me boxed the thing back up and went back and the employees looked at me like I was crazy but guess what. I bought a Sony x900f and guess what no ticking/clicking noise thats distracting as someone clicking mouse in your ear! The picture is by far much superior which is Sonys basic uhd tv in comparison to Samsungs Qled. I watched one scene in the new avengers movie on the qled think oof that gritty and pixelated. Then yesterday I watched the same scene on the Sony and thought wow that looks incredibly clear! Sorry to say Samsung lost me as a lifetime customer which is sad to say because the majority of my electronics in my home are Samsung ive never been so disappointed in a company what a let down. All in all I know Samsungs pricing and Specs are more attractive on paper but when you get down to the reality of it the quality just isnt there anymore. Its a real shame.

I love this tv, great picture, sound is good, great speed on wifi.

The colors are very bright and its style very modern. The sound a little low but acceptable. You will be surprised when you enter the applications. It is a good TV.
