Also, when looking at the tv's most our mounted on the wall. We never thought that it wouldn't be on a stand like we had in the past. But we lucked out and the legs fit on our tv stand.

Obviously technology is always improving but this TV is superb. I originally bought it just as an interim TV when my plasma of 12 years finally gave out but I’ll be keeping this for as long as possible

It’s connected to an LG soundbar through hdmi and sometimes the sound does not work completely (I.e. in a documentary, only the soundtrack plays and not the narration); I have to deselect the soundbar from the tv settings and select it again for it to work properly. I’m now debating whether to return it because of this. It’s a hassle to have to do it often, and it does happen often enough that it bothers me.

It's motion rate is on par(or similar) with previous generations. Although I haven't tested out its game mode yet. So far, the contrast and color clarity is top-notch for its class. Aesthetics is nice, along with its slim bezels. Bluetooth connectivity is great and very convenient :).. so far so good. Remote is kinda strange, but it's not too big of a deal.

Once you hook up to the web all you see every time you hit the home button (required to change source) are adds. I have now taken offline. Thanks Samsung. I now have a 1500 smart tv that is no longer smart. Why do you charge that much and then throw ads at me!?!? Last Samsung product I buy.

Customized ads appear in a small icon on the lower left of the TV screen and are unobtrusive unless a consumer clicks on them. Consumers can choose to opt-out of receiving interest-based ads at any time through the settings menu. Should a consumer opt not to receive interest-based ads, the small icon will still be present, but the ads will be generic and not based on the consumer’s specific interests.

We are 100% cable free, only streaming from several services. This tv works perfect for that. Smart apps are very easy to use. The only thing bothered me a little is the tv automatically downloaded a program that contains some free channels and it automatically switch to that program after some usage.

The picture went bad - shadow image. The replacement process took a long time - total 4 weeks but we are glad it is fixed - under the warranty plan.

The only issue is that it turns itself back on after you switch it off. This usually happens about 1 minute after you switch it off. You might have to keep an eye on that if you are leaving.
