    Mostly it was good it had a very dark background picture which I could not get to lighten up. Sound bar was great.

    picture too dark, "smart" tv apps not consistent

    The Q70 has a dark picture. I am running on "dynamic" mode just to have a bright enough picture. Not very happy about that. In addition, the apps on the samsung app are buggy. On at least a couple of them, HGTV, DIY... when they work, coming out of the commercial break the app freezes. Meaning, the picture freezes, no sound, but the program continues to run. Sooooo, I guess, I either pack this thing back into the behemoth of the box it came in, or I live with it... and attach my roku to my "smart" tv. Not happy with the purchase, and do yourself a favor and find a different tv.

      I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with the brightness of your Q70R QLED Smart TV.

      You can try manually adjust the Brightness settings.
      Go to Home> Settings> Picture> Expert Settings> Brightness

      We also recommend you to check if Power Saving Mode has been enabled.
      Go to Settings> General> Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

    Too risky-fragile screen

     I just put a finger on the screen since there was a bit of dust on the screen and my 55" Q70 Samsung (6 months old) cracked. Not compensated for my loss by Samsung (bought from Bestbuy-who asked me to call Samsung customer's service). I have handled Samsung TV s in the past. I had one for 5 years and the screen is not like this. I was a huge fan of Samsung TVs, but not buying the high end Q-series any more. It is too risky. No TV should be this fragile.

    I was looking to buy a tv with HomeKit and AirPlay support, bought the TV set it up and found out Samsung only offers airplay but not HomeKit! Why not Samsung? Returning it and getting the Sony that offers both!!

    Motion not really good And bad lip sync issues

    I return the Sony x950g because of the blooming thinking of the Samsung was better it was but the motion on it was real bad and had terrible lip sync issues returned it and the Sony back
