I wasn't really in the market for a new TV. OUR 46" Samsung is still great at around 5 yrs old. However, around the holidays, I was looking for a deal too good to pass up. At $549 on sale, this was it. I don't really care about the smart TV features. I don't use any of them because I've got a full lineup package with AT&T U-Verse. I briefly played with the web browser, but without a wireless mouse and keyboard, it's too hard to navigate. One nice feature is being able to show my smart phone screen on the TV (using an LG G3). Anyway, the TV default settings didn't have a very good picture, so I've tweaked them and now think it looks very good. Here's what I changed (that I can now remember a couple of days later). Picture mode: Standard Backlight: 14 Contrast: 95 Brightness: 45 Sharpness: 50 Color: 50 Tint: R50 - G50 Picture advanced settings Dynamic contrast: Low Flesh tone: -3 Picture Options Color Tone: Cool Sound Mode: Movie (I have a sound bar with sub woofer, so this wasn't as important to me) Hope this helps someone of you're trying to adjust your picture settings. All situations are differy, but might be a starting point.

I've owned 3 Samsung televisions and 2 of them died before 2 years. I'm going back to Sony! Junk

TV is decent. Only two HDMI ports though and no Bluetooth

When the TV would play after about 20 to 30 minutes the screen will go blank and the Samsung logo would display and just bounce around on the TV. The volume from whatever program I will look at was still be heard but the logo would not go away.

The TV is primarily used for dvds, bluray, and video games. In dark areas with lighter areas moving concurrently acorss/in them, there would often be a noticeable blur especially in hair and faces during quick movements. I had to change several of the in picture advanced settings in order to clear this up

I realize this is a promotional model but it does what I need just fine.

Perfect for a close to 60inch hdtv for 549 bucks. Picture is excellent. Sound is adequate for bedroom, no need for a sound bar. I use a amazon Fire stick for streaming (not even consider this tv smart feature which is probably not usable even in much more expensive models). PROS:: - Inexpensive HDtv that has excellent picture and color. - Bestbuy free home delivery was a main factor for me in buying this tv since my car cannot fit it in. CONS: -tv remote is extremely hard to use in the dark because of buttons are very poorly designed. I happen to have another much better samsung tv remote that also works on this model. - this tv is among the fews that do not work with the ios app "mytifi" ( a remote control app) that would have solved the poorly design remote control issue. Too bad.

Haven't hooked up, waiting to close on new home. Can't wait.

I got a 58" for ~$550. Smart HDTV 1080p. It isn't very Smart... so I don't use the function a lot. probably a samsung thing. Wish i had gotten a smaller tv that was 4k and maybe from LG? but it gets the job done.

The tv has an okay picture for the price but the processor is super slow it takes forever for the apps to load so that they are available for use, this does include apps already downloaded.

The 1st Samsung b4 this one also went out. So I got this one a Samsung since I had that brand in the room and went to turn on my tv and it keeps restarting when the smarttv logo is up.

We purchased this television on Black Friday at a great price. We took it home and excitedly unpacked it and the screen was shattered. We returned it and Best Buy was kind enough to exchange it for us the next day. We took the second TV home and opened it up and to our dismay that one was also shattered. We returned this television and chose not To try a third time. Don't waste your money, we found out that this particular model was made solely for Black Friday sales and is not available the rest of the year. There is a reason for this.

I made this purchase yesterday and not lightly I might add. I am a hard pressed type of person for big purchases such as this one and rarely make them. I reviewed many tv and went into the store to look at them all. Now you know me as a purchaser. I am happy to say that I am beyond happy with this purchase. The colors are crisp, clear, and rich. You may be concerned at the 60hz and the fact that there may be some blur but I personally see no difference. For those worried about the sound and if it will be loud enough for you, I am partially deaf in both ears and I can hear the shows I watch just fine. I will say though that at times when there is deep base that the voices may be drowned out but this may be due to individual programming. The fact of the matter is, at this price, the size of the tv, adding the smart capabilities which I have found no fault in, I will say that if you are in the market for a new TV that this is more bang for your buck than anything I personally have looked at for the amount of money you will spend. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this TV for a Labor Day party, had it all set up and connected to surround sound and ready to go, used the remote to turn it on but it never worked. called customer service and they tried to help me but told me that it was a bad TV. I broke down the set up and took the TV back into the Burbank, Il. store where the Manager and employee in the TV dept. heard me out and they where very nice to me they even upgraded me with a better TV. the Customer service there was excellent. I give them 5 STARS but the TV I'm not going to bother.
