Picture speed not that good with only 60mhz speed. Needs to be 120.

This TV is great. From the price to the setup. Got it home and fully setup in about ten min. Still trying to figure out the closed captions. For some reason on the TV they are greyed out. My cable box has them so use that instead. Picture very clear. The sound is awesome. For the person that gets stuck in the Netflix app, you just have to hit exit.

I bought this for a basement so far it has been great. I wired it to my router and the apps work great. Picture is nice, plenty of HDMI and USB plugs and as with any TV the sound is mediocre. I would suggest a surround system but without it the sound is fine.

To paraphrase the late great Lee Ioacoca, "If you can find a better big screen HDTV for the money, buy it." This unit sports a gorgeous picture and is a spectacular 58" room filling Godzilla. The sound is as good as a thin screen HDTV gets. Go get it. Do it now. The delivery team of Sean McVay and Kyle Kozak were terrific - unboxed, set up and running in 20 minutes. Thanks guys.

For the price of $549, I've no doubt this is a worthy buy. TV was easily setup and picture quality was pretty good. I am surprise this model has a very decent sound system as well. I have chosen a full HD TV knowing there aren't many source for 4K contents to justify a 4K TV investment for now. I have no regrets at all on this decision.

Great display, easy set up and navigation. Exactly what I needed for my first time big screen tv purchase.

I purchased this TV is hopes it would be a nice addition to the living room. Don't get be wrong it's a decent TV for the price. The black levels are so so colors are good and it can get bright. Overall it is a good TV. The push for 4k is here so the TV manufacture construct the best panels in those sets. I would imagine in the next 2-3 years companies like Sony Samsung & LG will no longer manufacture 1080 since everyone is going to 4k. I had this TV side by side by son's TV in his bedroom and for the money it's not bad. The only downside to this TV is the Operating System which is very slow probably a dual core processor however if you connect it via a gaming console or dedicated blue ray player it should be fine. Please be nice since this is my 1st review thru Best Buy. Overall if you are looking for a decent set that won't break the bank and near 60" this is the set for you. For $549 I was a little skeptical of how good it could be, boy was I wrong.. I love it!! Easy set up great picture, quality and sound.. Stop reading reviews and just buy it, you want be disappointed!!

Excellent TV. Great picture. Good company. What's not to like? Only 4k TVs are going to have noticeably better picture. This TV is cheaper and just as good as most other competitor's TVs.

Looking at issues online I can tell that I didn't get a defective TV, that there are hundreds if not thousands of this specific TV that are faulty. First off. Picture is great. There is a pretty good glare if lights are on in the other room though. Over the years I've bought numerous tv's on black Friday or the day after Christmas and they have all been spectacular. Except this one. I'm taking it back today. The smart hub, which is what connects it to the Internet, is totally faulty. You have to reprogram the TV and set an 8888 default code just to get on Netflix. This is in the setup brochure. SO SAMSUNG ALREADY KNOWS THAT THIS TV HAS AN ISSUE. It takes me at least 7 attempts every time I try to get on Netflix. Not a user friendly TV. AND THAT'S NOT ALL. It took me an hour searching online to figure out that you have to hard reset the TV to get it to recognize the HDMI ports. Wanting to watch a movie the day after Christmas was an exercise in patience for sure. If this TV was just being judged on its picture, it would get 4 stars. I would give it 0 stars for all other capabilities. I can't believe that I haven't seen more bad reviews on this TV.

We love our new Samsung 58" Smart TV. We usually buy Samsung and when we saw this one we knew we would buy it. Picture is great once we tweaked it. Wish there was a setting to prevent commercials being louder than the program. So far very satisfied.

Purchased this TV for parents who needed a large size due to failing eyes. they love it, great picture quality and for the price can't beat it. i have three other Samsungs so selected this one based on their picture quality, was not disappointed.

Recently moved to a new apartment with my boyfriend and we were waiting on black friday to make all of our purchases. Was eyeing different tvs at different prices and this one was for a great price. Sound and quality of tv are top notch. Vivid images and very easy to set up. Was considering purchasing a philips tv from walmart for cheaper but im so glad that I bought this tv from best buy. You can schedule your delivery date and time frame with best buy. I couldn't gave been happier. Thank you Samsung and Best Buy.
