    A DANGEROUS range when converted to propane gas

    A VERY dangerous range when converted to propane gas. We had now had installed our second range and the larger burner still does not come with the correct orifice for conversion to propane. When ignited, this burns flares up in a very dangerous fashion and remains a very high orange flame. I consider this range a safety hazard, and I am in the process of filing a complaint with the WA State Attorney General's Consumer Safety Division. Best Buy's House Design Manager has been terrific throughout all of this and Best Buy has bent over backwards to remedy this safety problem. Samsung refuses to acknowledge the problem, has not recalled the range for propane conversion purposes, and continues to market this range as natural gas and propane gas ready (with conversion ofifices). Other than that, we love this range and have asked for a remedy rather than a replacement. The dividable oven is perfect for simultaneous broiling and baking, the burners are well calibrated (except for the large dangerous burner), the controls are easy to use, the interior light is bright, etc. BUT, this is a dangerous range when converted for propane gas use--at least the two ranges we have had installed are dangerous.

    We still have all appliances wrapped and eaiting for cabinets to come in. It will still be 6 weeks before you install them.

    I did not like this range and ended up swapping it out for another one. The cast iron grates on the top are very heavy and I think it caused little rust spots on the stainless top. The double oven seemed like a good idea in the store, but in reality, the large center piece is a hassle to store. For some, it might be a great stove, but I like the one I got in its place (black top and single door) better.

    We all love this range. It looks very modern and love the silver too. It came in handy with thanksgiving and Christmas for sure! The self clean just needs to be a little faster but overall very nice and would highly recommend!

    since I bought it I had a problem with the fire on the left side 11 months after purchase. The oven below has stopped working. We called Samsung technical assistance, they came and fixed the oven on the bottom, now the one above is not working and they don't want to give a warranty because it's been a year since I bought it, I don't understand if the top and bottom is working, no why should it come tidy the bottom and leave the top not working?

    Had less than a year and the igniter went out. Put Samsung appliances in my house and have had problems with them all avoid this brand.

    I hate this oven. The split oven is useless. The top is a mini broiler so be prepared to burn everything. It takes a ridiculous number of button presses to do anything. Air fry doesn't let you know the temp until it actually reaches temp unlike the baking option.

    Over priced junk. Oven will not hold set temperature. Had repair guy take a look and it needs a control board. $1200 to replace but they are on back order. Garbage appliance.

    I am donating this range and buying a new one. The oven takes a really long time to heat up. It heats up the whole house. The cooktop blows out at low settings.
