Constantly getting error codes that have no explanation or online fix. After 14 months 3 of 6 Samsung appliances have needed service. They look great on the outside but the inner components are not built to last.

Too Modern = Too Sensitive = Ineffective

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this as a set with the accompanying washer and while the washer is great (mini washer too) the dryer, not so much. The dryer is way too sensitive and prolongs dry time needlessly, does not have the force to blow the air out of the vents. The Samsung repair tech says it's because of the computerized components that increase the heat sensitivity making it reduce heat for safety (or something to that effect). My husband is ultra-handy and is very good about snaking/cleaning the vents and lint drawer reliably and we never had issues with "vent bends in the walls" but that is the excuse we got, the dryer is just too modern. Because we got the shoulder shrug from Samsung, we now we have to dry everything on a towel setting to dry with effective heat but of course, it's all high heat and not all clothes/items require high heat. So, the dryer is incompatible with my 15 year old house and not exchangeable. Were I to redo this purchase, I would NOT buy this brand. Buyer beware, unless your vents have ZERO bends and go straight in the wall from dryer to outside, this dryer will not work properly for your house.

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The washing machine is great, however after 1 year of usage the top washer began to overflow setting off the moisture sensor thereby rendering the entire washing machine inoperable. We were able to use only the front load washer only after the sensors dried off. We give it 2 stars because it is not an effective flex washer if only the front loader is dependable. The washing machine was out of warranty at that time and required us to pay to have it serviced.
