I bought this oven from BB and it was delivered and installed in a matter of days. I'm new to electric cooking. I tried to use the air fryer but I never detected any air motion inside the oven so I dont know if it is working properly. Should i hear the fan or feel the air move if i pop open the door? It is nothing like my old countertop air fryer

"wi-fi" or "smart" feature is a lie

We have had this range for about a month now. Consumer Reports rated it highly. Would not recommend. The wi-fi / smart feature that is designed to allow you to turn on the oven via the app is BS, as that feature turns itself off anytime you open the oven or it finishes cooking, meaning you have to walk to the oven to turn it back on, so you may as well just start the oven while you are there. Also, some of the samsung ranges allow you to control the individual burners on the cooktop... Not this one. All you can do in the app is to see if a burner is on, not any specific one of course. So far, air frying has been a failure, however it's new to us and maybe we need more time to work with it, same issue when trying to control it with Alexa. Less important but still a negative, is that the range back does now allow you to place it against the wall, and that is annoying to have a gap behind it. All in all, if you want either of the "smart features" above, you won't find them in this range. We are very disappointed that we thought after reading about it, it really sounded like we were buying a smart range and did not get one.

Brand response from Samsung

Hello Vetala,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We appreciate you letting us know that you are having issues with the smart feature in your Samsung range. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. It's not the experience we want you to have with one of our products, and we'll be glad to look into this for you.
Opening the oven door or pressing Smart Control will disable Smart Control and prevent you from turning the oven on remotely. If it is not displayed, you can still monitor the oven and cooktop status and turn the oven off. When oven cooking is finished or canceled, Smart Control will turn off.
You may check pages 38-39 of the user manual to learn more about this Samsung range's smart control and Amazon Alexa and Google assistant. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202112/20211214153925301/NE63A6711_AA-01_EN-MES-CFR_210901.pdf

I like the idea of this stove, but the Convection bake feature is not good. I have had 6 repairs on this oven, mostly for the convection bake fan or control board. I also had to replace 2 burners. When it works, it works good, but mine has been a repair nightmare. Fortunately I bought a 5 year extended warranty. If not, I would have paid for the stove many times over with the repairs. Best Buy stepped up on the latest mess and lemoned it for me.

After bringing water to a boil, then turning the heat down to a 4, the water would not stop boiling until i moved it to a different burner and finished cooking on that one. After that i noticed bubbles underneath the glass. No amount of cleaning or scraping would get it off, it was quite literally underneath the glass. I have returned it. Looks nice though and oven cooked nicely
