While most of the reviews were overwhelmingly positive, there were a couple that warned of slow screen paints and poor resolution. I ha not found that to be the case at all. The picture is clear and crisp. I have not seen any resolution denigration at all. I am very happy with the purchase and got it on sale at a great price.

This TV is a bargain for the price and features it provided. It has motion rate of 240 and can support 3D.

Little bit of slow resolution but overall a great TV

I bought this in as a replacement for my eight year old 60" Song SXRD rear projection tv. It is my first Samsung and I could not be happier. It took me a short time to go through and turn off a few settings, but that was really a minor issue. It has a great picture, sharp color contrast, and the Smart features are terrific.

Samsung quality. Others may have issue - I have not.

Read other reviews before and after my purchase from Best Buy. This is a great TV for the price we paid. I am definitely pleased with the video resolution. The 60 inch size fits perfect on my wall in my Family Room. I would recommend this TV to my friends.

The active 3D glasses do not come with the set. Looking forward to trying 4K streaming on Netflix.

after 14 years of trouble free viewing on my Samsung ELP 60 inch TV it was time to go 4 K ! My New Samsung 60" 4 K has an incredible picture and sound. I also got a GREAT Buy at 179.00 Less than a National Online Retailer! The TV also plays Blue Ray 3 D discs which are spectacular! Couldn't be Happier!!

I passed on the Black Friday deals because none of them offered 4K and the the 240 motion rate. As soon as I saw the email ad listing this TV for $1,000, I rushed to the nearest Best Buy to make the purchase. The upscaling does make a noticeable difference when compared to my 55" 8000 Series 1080p TV.

Picture is great but some computer problems. Have had to have it serviced twice.

The picture is great. I bought this TV without viewing a picture on a show room TV of the same model. The picture and features of this TV exceed my expectations based on the unbelievable low price Best Buy sold this model at. Would recommend this to friends based upon the value of the price paid.

Samsung has really earned its gold star in the TV category. Easy to setup and get started, beautiful picture , fun apps and great tech support. We have several and enjoy them all!

Great TV at a great price. Picture is excellent. The 3D is so much better than expected. I love the direct Internet connection allowing Netflix, Hulu, Internet browser, and much more. Picture in picture mode is perfect for catching 2 games at once. I don't think I could ask for anything more.

the tv has a great picture and when tied to a newer 4k bluray player it's evene better.

I'm not sure what the exact terminology is, but everything you watch looks like a soap opera production. It may have to do with the 3D capabilities, not sure. Sometimes during a fast moving film, the image skips a little bit. Otherwise, the 60" screen is great with the PS3. The built in WIFI is great. This is my first TV with built in internet. Not much to compare against. Price was great at $999.
