Good picture with old software. I figured out the software version has nothing to do with the quality. The TV is fast and did not hang even once in so many months. We play games, watch movies and what not. Great buy.

The picture is crisp and clear and the TV adjusts to the surrounding lighting. The only issue I have is going from the menu to my amazon prime account. Sometimes I have to turn it off and back on in order to access prime. Other than that......a solid purchase.

WE LOVE THIS TV. THE PICTURE IS PERFECT AND WE HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS. THE 4K IS SO CLEAR AND WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SET.

Let's get this out of the way first. This is a 60 inch 4K $1000 TV. If you are expecting or wanting a perfect picture you will not be happy. I went into this expecting less than what I got. The TV exceeded my expectations. I am glad I did not spend over 2K on a TV like I was planning on. Here are the settings I have settled on for now. I am really happy with the picture with these settings. Of course this is all subjective and you may not like them. But maybe it will be a good starting point for some. pic mode: natural backlight: 10 contrast: 100 brightness: 40 sharpness: 60 color: 40 Tint: g50 R50 With these settings I am pretty thrilled with the picture for what I paid. I know many wonder about the 3D but have a hard time finding info about it. To me 3D was very important. I did not expect it to be as good as it was. I read on consumer reports that the 7100 had pretty bad 3D. Since this TV seems to be a stripped down version of that I was worried about this. Well I watched a 3D movie last night and was nicely surprised to find it was great. I may of saw some ghosting toward the back of scenes but really nothing that bothered me. Overall it far exceeded my expectations. Setup was very easy and no problems with any of the apps I have used. I use Netflix, Amazon and VUDU. Again, if you are really picky this TV is obviously not for you. If you just want a very decent picture and the features this TV offers, for 1K I don't see how you can go wrong.

We bought this on sale, best TV for $1000. I would completely recommend it. We bought over Valentines weekend.

I purchase this tv for my father to upgrade his plasma tv and I was surprise of he great quality for the price

The TV is great but every once in awhile it cuts on and off by itself. Not sure if it is trying to go into sleep mode or not but other than that it works and looks great.

Despite changing the settings as suggested by a Samsung TV specialist I still get a lot of Judder! I will continue to play with these setting till I get the results Im looking for. Not the TV quality I expected from Samsung!
