This TV has a great picture and HD quality that is out of this world. Worth looking into.

Not satisfied with UHDTV7000 series. My fault. Read the reviews after the fact. Poor clarity. I will never purchase another TV without viewing the store display first. Upgraded to the SUHDTV8500 Series. Very happy now.

Overall the TV is okay. The picture quality is great and the sound is clear. There's also numerous settings to adjust that will cater to pretty any entertainment set up. The problem however comes with the internal hardware. When I first got the TV the logic board of the TV seating wrong making it hard to plug in the HDMI hub for the TV. Also the sound would only play after cycling through the HDMI inputs. For awhile this was an annoyance but still manageable. Then the TV began to randomly not recognized any video inputs effectively making the TV useless until it decided to work again. I called geek squad who are awesome and they promptly came out to replace the logic board. Unfortunately the replacement board that shipped was also misshapen so much so that it wouldn't even fit. Another logic board was ordered and lucky this one fit and solved my problem. Unfortunately the good times didn't last because now I'm experiencing a problem where the volume randomly decides to stop working, thus I'll be calling geek squad again soon. What keeps me from ranking the TV any lower is the price. I was able to get this TV on sale for $1000 which is pretty good for a 60 in 4k smart tv.

Full disclosure: I have only had this TV for 2 days. I rarely write reviews but there was such a paucity of information on this TV I wanted to contribute to help out others looking at it. I do a ton of research (too much) before buying TVs, so I was skeptical about this model that first became available in the US a week before I ended up buying it. It appears to be identical to the Samsung JU7100, except for the smart remote, for anyone that wants to read about that TV to get more information. It is so much less expensive than the 7100 that I was worried I may be getting a low-quality panel of something like that, since I can't imagine Samsung puts a $1000 premium on just their Smart remote. I do not need a 4K TV and intended to buy the Samsung J6300, but the price on this was too good and despite zero available reviews, I took a chance on it. Pros: - This is a great looking TV. The bezel is pretty slim and the brushed metal looks very good. It is dark, and does not look as silver as I thought it would (which is a plus IMO). The stand is a reasonable size (footprint of about 13 x 37 inches) and is very stable. - The setup is incredibly simple, and the internet connectivity is flawless so far. - The SmartHub is great. I've heard some complaints about Samsung's smart features but I thought it was very intuitive and convenient to use; I only use it for Netflix, Amazon Video, and HBOgo, but all those applications are one click away on the remote. - The picture is outstanding. The colors saturation is excellent, as is the contrast. The blacks are perfect and the screen uniformity is better than I could have expected. I hooked the TV up to my computer to test both of the above and it was truly flawless. I realize I may have gotten lucky with a good panel but I am very pleased as I was worried about both of these things in a model that doesn't have a lot on information on it. The screen can also get very bright. I was hesitant about a truly glossy screen because the room in which I'm using it is very bright with 3 big windows, but the screen is able to get so bright that during the day that the glare is no more of an issue than it was for my semi-gloss TV. The brightness is also easily adjustable; it gets so bright that I have to turn it down at night or it hurts my eyes. - After I turned off the motion plus (soap opera effect), the motion was excellent with no appreciable judder from any source (cable, streaming, PC, bluray - everything except that I don't game). Cons: - There is loss of color saturation from angles. This is very noticeable from angles of 45 degrees or more. This is only an issue for me when I'm trying to watch TV (which is in the living room) while I'm working in the kitchen. That said, it's still watchable--the colors are just washed out--and I fully expected this would be the case (as it is with all non-IPS LED screens), so I hesitate to include it as a true con. What did surprise me a little is that when sitting a slight angle (no more than 15-20 degrees), the side of the TV farther away from me appears a little washed out. I sit in only one spot in the room (which is a little to the right of the TV), and the colors on the left side of the screen look slightly less saturated than the right, which made the picture look slightly non-uniform in color/saturation. I initially thought it was a discrepancy in the screen until I moved directly in front of the screen to evaluate it, at which point I realized it was because of the angle; once I realized that, I stopped focusing on it and it no longer bothers me. My wife can't notice it at all even when looking for it. This is a beautiful TV. I don't need 4K or 3D, but you won't find a better 60in 120Hz 4K 3D TV at this price.

The refresh rate on this TV takes everything to a whole new level!

This is overall a great tv. I am happy with the picture, just wished it could link to my iPhone but it is not compatible.

For the price this TV is loaded with features. Great picture.
