I love my 60" tv but you should think about a adding a home theater systems so u can really enjoy it

I actually was not in the market or even seriously considering a 4K TV until I saw this sale. Didn't think a Samsung 60" UHD unit with 3D would be this cheap so soon, which is why I pounced on it immediately. The TV is really well built, durable and pretty sleek looking. Looks great mounted on the wall as well. The picture is as good as can be expected given the current lack of 4K programming, which is why I'm only giving it four stars for now. This is somewhat of an incomplete review, but don't want to add that fifth star until I see the TV truly able to perform at its best. Ghosting seems to be pretty minimal so far, although don't be fooled by the 240 clear motion logo on the box. It really has a 120HZ refresh rate. The Best Buy salesman was also very forthright about that so it's not something they're trying to hide. Just don't be hoodwinked by Samsung's marketing. I popped in a 3D Blu Ray and that was beautiful. Basically, so far so good. Look forward to seeing this unit perform to its maximum capabilities once UHD programming is available. Definitely recommend this TV, especially given the durability, size and specs. I have a feeling I will look back fondly on this purchase in a couple years.

I have been waiting for 4K tv's to go on sale. I have a 55" samsung now and it developed some dead led's so it had a black line in the middle of the picture. I did buy the 2 year extended warrenty however this happened 3 months after the warranty expired. Best Buy and Samsung said there was nothing they could do. So I purchase this TV on the day it goes on sale, easy set up, has a really good picture right out of the box. I watched The Martian in HD and it was incredible. I watch 4K videos from Utube and they are awesome. I am still working on the settings for football the picture is a little juddery at times, I think I will be able to fix this with a setting. Overall I am very satisfied with this 4K TV. I am looking forward to seeing how the 3D looks. No glasses with the set, have to purchase seperately. I did purchase the 5 year warranty just in case.

This TV is absolutely amazing! I upgraded from a 50" Panasonic plasma TV that's about 6 years old. The 10" difference was not very noticeable but the picture quality definitely is! Extremely vivid colors, the sharpness is 2nd to none and the price unbeatable! Included is the fact that it has 3D availability. I opted for the 5 year Geek Squad protection and totaled out at just over $1300.00, saving $869.99. That's a great deal to me especially having them deliver it and set it up as well. After a couple back surgeries I physically couldn't do it. The guys that came in were extremely nice. After hooking everything up including Blu-ray player, home entertainment and sound bar they gave me a quick but thorough run down of all this amazing TV has to offer. Look no where else for quality picture, amazing sound and awesome price! This TV is it!

OK first off let me say that the TV is LEGIT!! I went from a previous Samsung 55 inch LED 3D TV. I didnt think that there was as much big difference between a 55 in and 60 in...but there is. And while there are no 4K content available on media (blu-ray / DVD) i was able to stream some stuff from Netflix and Youtube and it is amazing sight to see. I do believe that there is some calibration that needs to be done in the initial setup. However once its calibrated properly the picture is amazing. For the price point and the features I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Oh and the sports mode is pretty good too.

this is 2nd tv from samsung very simler problem and customer service is very bad after 2 hrs on phone with customer service nothing solved and i'm done with samsung products thank you!!

I had an 5yr old Samsung Plasma TV But the Motherboard went on it and wound up breaking, So it was time to get a New TV, I wasn't sure of what kind of TV I wanted so I went online and looked at BestBuy.com and low in behold I came across this Model and it had such good reviews and everything I wanted in a TV and best of all a great price so I couldn't pass it up. I've only had it for about a month but I'm very satisfied with it so far, All's I can say for the price which I don't know how much longer it's going to be on sale for and a 5yr warranty plus the tax, I spent 300.00 less than my old 50 inch 1080p Samsung Plasma TV so my advice is if your looking for a all around 4k TV and you get as a bonus 3D with it I'd say go for it you won't be sorry.

Very low quality image. I regret buying this TV. I expected a high quality result but was given false info at the store and now I am stuck with a mediocre tv.

Not only is this TV a great buy, it has an amazing picture and great features. Easy set-up. Detail and color is so great, you get real depth perception, even when not watching a 3D program. Don't be fooled by negative comments in some reviews. I'm sure you can get an incrementally better picture if you spend 2 or 3 times as much, but most of us will barely notice. I've had two great large screen HD Samsung's and a SONY (one left to the buyers of our previous home, which was why I needed a new one). This is far and away the best. Ultra HD is a noticeable step up. Can't touch this size and quality for the price. Smaller and/or lower quality TVs are almost as much. At $999.99 this is in the sweet spot.

My first reaction when seeing this product advertised was "Wow, a Samsung 60" 4K TV for $999?!?!" Like many, I became concerned when reading some of the comments regarding the panel and other parts not being made by Samsung. Ultimately, I had confidence that Samsung would not put their reputation on the line without being confident in the quality of the parts they were using. About 6 years ago I spent $4,000 on a top of the line model, and while it is a fantastic TV, I'm at a point now where I'm actually pretty shocked that I was willing to pay that much. Technology these days is almost obsolete very shortly after you've shelled out the big money. I decided that I should be a little more conservative this time around. Ultimately, after having this TV for a few days now, I am definitely satisfied. It would be foolish to expect this to be as fancy or feature rich as a TV that costs double the price, but I feel strongly that the quality is certainly not doubled on those products. In my opinion, the value of this TV cannot be argued. I use this TV primarily for Blu Ray movies and Xbox One games and they look phenomenal. Unless you're someone who absolutely must nitpick every detail, I don't see how you would not be pleased with the quality of this TV at this price.

Purchased an LG 60" 4K tv, yuck, during the Black Friday sales, as this was my first time buying one on a budget. Tried every which way to make it work, nothing did, had too many problems and finally took it back. When this Samsung went on sale, decided to buy it. The price is right, the picture quality is amazing, and some of the up-scaling looks almost as good as 4K and I love the features. This tv might be sup par to some, but to me, this tv is awesome for a first time 4K buyer on a budget. Seriously happy.

Great TV for the money. The other reviewer has misleading information about 3D (I was actually told by bb associate as I was loading the TV into my car that the TV required a special adapter to be able to use 3D function). NOT TRUE...you can enable 3D within TV's menu. Picture is solid and you can't ask for much better at this price range (899 with mover's coupon). Are there TV's with better picture...sure there are if you're willing to spend additional $500-$1000 or go all out and get an OLED for 5 grand.

I bought flatscreen after reading many reviews and seeing other models in store. The resolution and picture quality on this TV is excellent and on par with any other $2000 + TV out there, provided you have to spend some time to adjust your settings accordingly. Those who are leaving bad reviews about the picture quality are likely using sub par video feed. I am using HD on Uverse and it just shows me how awful their 1080i feed is. Netflix, PS4 and Youtube 4k look awesome as expected though. 3D works fine but you have to buy your own glasses. The remote that comes with this is not a smart remote and leaves something to be desired. I will probably upgrade. Only gripes I have are that the bezel that surrounds the screen looks cheap and plasticky up close. I thought it was metal but just simulated painted metal on plastic. From the side profile this screen is not as slim as I expected it would be. Also the menu functions and HUB do not load and change screens as fast as I thought they would, my experience compares from using Roku 3 on another LED tv which was plenty adequate for me. So far I am think I am going to be keeping this one.

theres no motion blur on this tv believe me just watched a football game the picture is awesome I had the sony 65x850c now that had motion blur ..im very picky with tvs I think the few bad reviews are from people that bought the 7 series before this one came out and are jealous cuz they paid so much lol.awsome tv you cant go wrong

I was in the market for a 4k TV to replace my 50” old rear projection TV. I read a lot of online articles about how to select 4K UHDTV. I went to BestBuy store multiple times to checkup all brands with different options, including Sony, Samsung and LG. I also used the BestBuy online compare tool (which is useful) to research them. My focus is mainly on picture quality and ease of use of Smart functions. This Samsung 4K 60” is made just perfect on all aspect with a very good price. I saw several 4K TV deals on BestBuy coming up but waited until seeing this one. This is a new model with no reviews. I carefully compared it with UN60-7100 in store and decided to buy it. I am very glad with the purchase. The picture is super, super clear and sharp. I get the free Over the Air HD TV channels and they look vivid with great detail and color on this TV. The Smart function is easy to use. Sound is not bad at all. I really recommend it to all buyers. You definitely need to check this out before buying others.

Let me start by saying I research before I buy. I bought the 55" 8500 series in November but I took it back. Overall good tv but the silver bezel made it seem much smaller than my original 55" Samsung. Purchased the 7000 series in 60". Was super happy with size but 60 hz was a tough pill to swallow after having a 120hz tv already. 60hz is terrible for football, basketball, and blu-Ray movies. Too much pixelation. I found this 7090 series and since Best Buy didn't have a floor model to see it, I just decided to test my luck. It dropped from $1499 to $999 in one day so I wasn't concerned with the price anymore. I got this tv home in time to finish watching Pit vs Den and I was amazed. I am now watching the Martian through Direct TV and it is impressive. So far after a few hours I am very happy with the quality, size and price!

I purchased this tv a few weeks ago and have been enjoying it since it arrived. Beautiful picture and a very reasonable price for a Samsung of this size. Yes, I realize the panel is sharp. I own sharp tvs...this was no big deal to me. If you're in the market for something new and don't feel like spending for the newest and best, this is a perfect upgrade from any tv you have that's a few years old (unless you bought top of the line a few years ago).
