So far, so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been going back and forth with whether I wanted to return my Vizio M Series and try out this tv. The Blu Ray and 4K picture was great on the Vizio but the picture while watching cable tv was worse than my old Samsung. Yesterday I decided to pull the trigger and swap the tvs. These are my findings so far: I did a little tweaking but colors were pretty accurate on natural mode from the start. Cable tv picture is a lot better on this tv than the Vizio in my opinion. 4K and blu Ray are comparable to the Vizio. I've read reviews stating that the black levels are bad and the screen and highly reflective, for me this is not the case. Black levels are great in my opinion and the screen isn't anymore reflecting than any other flat screen I've owned. I Played PS4 last night and the picture and motion is great. All in all, so far, I consider this tv a steal for the price and would recommend it for anyone looking for a "bargain" 4K tv. Get it while you can, you can always return it if you're not happy with it. Hope this helps!

Quality and Great Price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are standoffish because of the price, don't be. I returned a Vizio 60" M Series because of a dead pixel cluster (size of a pencil eraser). I saw this one on "sale" and decided to go with it even without seeing it on display. I do notice some frame stutters when watching TV but not when I'm watching HD channels. The clarity and brightness is very similar to the Vizio M series if not a little better. If you want to see the TV's full potential you should watch 4K videos on YouTube; the 4K video on Netflix doesn't look as good as the YouTube videos (in my eyes). Blu Ray videos look amazing as well. I bought active 3D glasses and a 3D movie and wasn't impressed with the 3D option but with that being said, I have never watched a 3D movie other than at the movies so I'm not the person to ask about the 3D option. I won't be buying anymore 3D movies though. Set up is simple and the picture looks great without having to tweak a bunch of setting. The smart HUB menu is a nice feature on the remote and makes viewing Netflix and other Apps quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone. I really liked the Vizio (which is the same "sale" price, but am apprehensive to purchase the brand now after getting a bad one.

Short life span
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this tv but at 5 years old its broken. The mini one connect is causing it to not work and there is no other way to hook an hdmi to the tv.

4.5 Stars Awesome TV! Bad Reviews are from Noobs!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this baby up as soon as they had it in stock nearby. The picture (after you tweak it mind you) is nothing short of stunning. No wonder they didn't put it on display at the stores near me, what average consumer is going to pay for a more expensive set? The 4K picture is mind blowing and the darn apps are lightening fast. Its night any day compared to my old Panasonic 50" 720p Plasma. The only thing I would deduct 1/2 a star for is that you need to be seated pretty much head on, in front to appreciate its amazing picture. Views off to the side do seem to lighten the overall image and the coloration depth. I noticed that some people are knocking it for a glossy screen that reflects. Why??? You knew that going in didn't you? Or the soap opera effect, which can get turned off with 2 clicks! Get real folks and do your research. Shortly after setup I went right to rtings.com and copied the specs for the 7100 model. Worked fantastic for me (though I had to up the back light as I'm in a pretty well-lit room). A 4k, 3D (you need to enable it), 240 (effective) 60" UHD TV by Samsung for under a grand this soon in 2016? Sold!

Great TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Lets start by saying I upgraded to this TV from a 50" Samsung TV. That was not 4k or 3D. This is my first 3D TV so I'm amazed by the clarity. I was ready to purchase a $1200 50" 3d 4k TV at Bestbuy until I found this deal. I thought at first it was too good to be true. I read the reviews online that the panel quality wasn't as great as the more expensive models. Besides that, it is missing a few video options. Not sure how much difference it makes. Looking forward to some calibration settings for this TV. Make sure you keep searching for the settings online. in Conclusion I challenge anyone to find a 3D TV with 4K at this size for this price. Don't compare it to a $2,000 TV. it will have more options. If you on a budget like me....get it.

Does everything it needs to do
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is excellent; very easy setup, fast response to all WiFi applications through the Smart Hub, very clear picture quality on sports, animation, movies, and games. Sound quality is fine, though it certainly doesn't compare to what you'd get with a separate audio system. Definitely couldn't beat the price.

Another "Frankenstein" for a Sales Holiday!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The JU7090 is a one-off "Frankenstein" model created specifically as a Superbowl promotional item. The panel in the TV is not a Samsung Panel. You can very easily confirm this by going into any store that has it on display and see on the back of the TV the "VERSION" will not be TS01 or TH01. Only those two versions are a Samsung LCD panel. Why do they do this? Simple, to get the customer that doesn't have a lot to spend into a TV that looks and smells like a high end TV but doesn't contain the high end build quality features. You are much better off buying a 55" JU7100 or 55" JS7000 if you want to stay close to $999, and at least this way you are getting a Samsung panel. The image quality is drastically different. The true Samsung panels do not look different when you are looking at them off-center. They also have much better black level and contrast. The missing features: Pur color, Ultra Clear Panel, and Wide Color Enhancer Plus have EVERYTHING to do with picture quality. This is why they are absent from, the 7090, it's a different panel. EVERY popular brand in the TV industry does this!!! Sony is currently doing the same thing with their 850C Model series.... It would be like buying a Mercedes Benz or BMW that has an engine from Hyundai under the hood :-( ... It's a good bang for the buck, for sure! I would advise savvy shoppers to not expect Gold performance when you paid for copper ;-). I hope this helps!!

Great TV with some tinkering
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a week with this TV, I was about to return it to Best Buy. The picture was jerky and very poor looking. All shows were too bright and fake/animated looking (soap opera effect). After going through a few menu screens to turn off the 240 upscale, it is MUCH better. I now love this TV. I’ll help anybody who may go through the same issues. Menu/Picture/Picture Options/ and turn off “Digital Clean View” and “Auto Motion Plus” It is also worth noting that the “Smart Hub” is not the best for being a smart TV. It does not support Sling TV, it won’t stream online sites without it being through an app, and it doesn’t let you use a keyboard for half of the apps (and it is very tedious to use a remote to enter usernames and passwords).

Very satisfied.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a Vizio M-Series, 65", then changed to the Samsung 55" Curve (UN55JU670DFXZA) then changed to the Samsung 65" (UN65JU639DFXZA --- yuck, yuck) and then ultimately settled on this television. I feel bad about so many exchanges (the other three were bought at Costco) but I am actually thrilled with this television purchase. It is gorgeous! I wish I could have afforded the SUHD model but this is a fantastic deal for the price. I couldn't be happier. Sometimes the response time of the remote seems a bit slow and I sort of wish it was the Smart Remote version - but again, I got what I paid for. I had to compromise somewhere. Only thing I can't figure out is Smart Briefing - maybe my Galaxy Note 3 isn't compatible????

Good TV for the price.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall the TV itself looks sharp. The edges are gunmetal gray. Overall the picture is very sharp when watching tv and movies from blu ray player. However there was occasional motion artifact when watching football or fast action sequence scenes. Some say changing the HDMI cable to a newer version will solve that problem. I will update when I get one.

Nice TV Buy without reservation
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read the reviews here and limited reviews on other blogs and I got concerned about this purchase. The deal was to good to pass up so I gave it a shot. Happy I did. I replaced my Samsung 50' about 6 years old and this is a great upgrade. The picture is great. Tried netflix movies and a cartoons to evaluate colors and I am very impressed. Its only been 2 days so its a bit premature but for 999.99 you cant find any better The only disappointment is the border isn't silver, its a steel color that looks black. menu is a bit combursome but its not too bad. We will see how it does for the games tomorrow.

Great tv for price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is a nice upgrade from my 48 inch Samsung 1080p tv (12 inches make a big difference) Can't beat the price and size ;its great for a big living space. I also bought a sound bar to give it a nice sound. All in all I am very happy with this purchase.

STUNNING
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Samsung TV and it has not disappointed. I've been partial to Sony for years, but the picture quality of Samsung is far superior. I would recommend registering your TV ASAP because Samsung customer support is fantastic and keeping your firmware up-to-date is also very important.

Needs Improvement...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the 7090 after seeing it listed online and it certainly does hit a good price point for many people looking to upgrade their TV. The steps for set-up were easy and straight forward. Total set-up time was maybe 10 minutes after unboxing it. The TV does come with the one connect mini, but I agree with another reviewer that the cord for it may need to be longer for some users. Once we started watching the TV, we noticed a significant motion blur with fast moving objects. I tried a variety of different settings to decrease the blur. There were four settings for "Auto Motion Plus" including an off setting. Each one of these yielded slight changes, but none could overcome the blur. I also changed other picture options as well, but each one compromised some details of the overall picture. In the end, the TV was not successfully able to combine clarity and motion control, so I returned it to Best Buy.

Happy customer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was kind of apprehensive on purchasing this set since there were no reviews at the time I purchased, but the price and features was worth taking a risk on. I'm very happy I did. Great picture, sound, and 3D. Love the "Sports" mode.

Picked this set up a couple days ago
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am very pleased the picture of this 60" HDTV. Blu-ray movie files look superb and the contrast is great, deep blacks. This TV is definitely an upgrade compared to my old Insignia 50" and well worth the $$. Only drawback is when running my TWC signal, sports look a little out of focus. However, when the camera zooms in the picture is crisp. I am hoping rtings will review this set so we can also get some picture calibration settings.

Great TV! Great Value!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV does everything and more. I couldn't ask for a better viewing experience. The colors are immersive, the picture is clear, the apps are easy to navigate. I'm not sure what paying double or triple for the other models will give you that this one doesn't. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.
