Ks8000 series is by far one of the best out there right now, I had a 55 inch sony x850D, I returned it because all the reviews were going to samsung. Night and day the Samsung out dues sony on everything. Super simple to set up, and amazing picture quality. Also no big bulky power brick like the Sony did. The sound is great, and gets pretty loud. I was looking to add a second TV in my living room to game on and still be able to watch TV. reading many reviews and tech ratings I chose to go with the KS8000 series instead of the KS9000. The price is a bit high but you get what you pay for. I have an older model samsung I purchased about 5 years ago which happens to be the model that the KS line replaced and I have had no issues with that TV and still has a beautiful clear picture hopefully this new one will give me many years of use! don't waste your money on the lower quality TV's that are cheap in price. you pay for what you get.

After much review and reading on this TV I finally purchased at my local BEST BUY. I've been a Samsung customer for a very long time and I have to admit I'm very impressed with this TV. You can see a difference when using Netflix vs your local cable provider. It does take time to learn the TV and how to use it, but once learned you will easily adapt to finding the settings to suit your needs. I highly recommend this TV.

I am beyond picky with TVs that I buy. I looked for hours and hours on end for reviews on TVs before I made a decision on this majestic sight of a Tv. Off the box no color correcting of any kind it looks great. With a few manual tweaks to your liking and it is phenomenal hands down one of the best TVs on the market. I would highly recommend.

This is my first 4k TV and so far has proven to be a good purchase. The Geek squad installed and set it up for me which was a good move on my part. The picture was set up using the Dynamic setting which delivers a very bright sharp picture. I have only had the set for 9 days and will wait and see if any issues develop .

I did a lot of research prior to my purchase. It was a toss-up between the Samsung and the Sony. My last TV and all of my other products are Samsung and I've had great luck with them. I decided to go with this TV and I'm very happy with my purchase ..!!!!

Not sure it's better than Plasma for 1080 but was easy to set up, great picture quality at 1080, 4K but still trying to figure out what HDR buys me. Tried one of Netflix 4K HDR and not sure it's better than 4K. Overall a much better experience than the LG 4K HDR I returned for this more expensive unit.

Only other 60 inch in class is LG, this is a superior product, but costs a few hundred more at $1500 currently. If it cost more than $1500 I would not recommend. One drawback in light bleed at bottom edge from being edge lit. Picture is otherwise fantastic though

aesthetically pleasing and content looks beautiful . HD upscaler amazing. Everything looks like 4k especially on HDR+ mode. Very nice colors and smooth motion. Great for my ps4 as well. Cant wait to hook up a playstation neo on this thing...

This TV has a beautiful 4k picture, easy to mount to wall and great sound even before hooking a sound barup, would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new TV, easy to navigate apps and love that the TV is so incredibly thin

incredibly detailed picture with vibrant colors. In fact I had to dumb it down so that movies look more like what we're used to (avoiding the "soap opera effect") by turning off the blur motion control and turning on the "clear" motion. The only complaint I have is that the sound is not very good - but that is true of all HDTVs today. A good sound bar or receiver is essential. I couldn't figure out how to use my receiver which, is great but old, and doesn't have an optical or HDMI port, so I bought a sound bar. The Samsung sound bars are fine, but I bought a higher end and much more expensive one from definitive technology (W Studio Micro), which I highly recommend if you are willing to spend the money.

I bought this tv for 2 reasons. 4K review and smart tv function. The picture and sounbar (additional purchase) are top notch. The smart part is a total failure. The smart hub worked for about 2 weeks. It keeps saying connected to network but not internet. I've spent about 10 hours trying every network fix possible. Nothing works. Google Samsung smart tv won't connect to internet and see how many people are in same boat. Their help line is worthless and immediately tells you it's your isp. Tell me why a Panasonic tv, PlayStation 4, iPads, iPhones, laptop, and pc connect flawlessly, but not this? Look elsewhere unless you want an expensive monitor.

Bought in 2016.... Still no issues. Picture is great. Sound quality is great as well

Good overall quality LCD/LED TV. In my opinion slightly better than the Sony, LG, Vizio in the same price range. The Black Friday sale price made it a sweet deal. But if you want the best black levels and picture quality and you don't mind spending about $1000 more, go with LG OLED.

I have been a Samsung user for years. I tried to go cheaper and bought A Vizio bad bad decision. I bought this KS8000 60" excellent is the best word to describe this TV.

Prior to this model, I got 6300 model (UN60KU6300FXZA) and not pleased with the performance. Because that was of 60 Hz refresh rate (motion rate 120). I saw motion blur even with a video of a kid clapping hands. So, I returned it. Then, bought this TV. This is having refresh rate of 120 Hz (Motion rate 240). The picture quality is AMAZING. Even though, you will be paying around $500 more for this TV compared to 6300 model or 7 series model, go with atleast 120Hz TV. It's worth.

Replaced my Plasma with this after much going back and forth. Why did I wait? Great Picture! Connected with my sound system and I'm now an official couch potato.

This has been the most amazing TV ever but today I noticed 1 DEAD PIXEL.... What do you do when you have just 1 dead pixel???

main use for HD Gaming and it looks amazing. check out the response times this is the best one
