Awesome size for the Price....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Im very happy with the 65 inch Led TV.. It was very easy to hook up and get started. Once i dialed in everything the picture is really nice on both HD cable channels and Xbox 360.. I have a Samsung Theater system too and remote works for both TV and Sound system. Picture in picture is just as clear... I would be a good purchase for anyone on a budget.

Great Picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you want a TV that is only used for TV and Blu Ray movies this a perfect choice. We mounted the TV over a mantle and only wanted a basic TV didn't need the SMART TV features or 3D (no interest). We use another TV for Internet and PC connections. TV and DVD player are connected to a surround system so can't comment on the quality of the sound.

NOT a Home Theater TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this when on sale during Thanksgiving due to price, brand, and size. Was in the market to upgrade and debated between this and a similar Vizio. After reading reviews, read a few more lemon stories about the Vizio so I went with this model due to brand reputation. I knew this had only 2 HDMI inputs versus 3 HDMI inputs on the Vizio, but I was okay with that due to reputation. I have to blame myself for not reading the fine print, but I was shocked when this was delivered to find out it had ZERO AUDIO OUTPUTS! I've never owned a TV without some form of audio output and can't recall seeing another TV with HDMI hookups that didn't have an Optical output. Needless to say, I regret choosing this model over the Vizio. I now will be going out to replace a great performing receiver because I need HDMI switching capabilities. If you just want to plug it in and watch TV...great picture! But if I could do it again, you can get a lot more for the money in a different model.

Very Nice 65
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased on the Black Friday sale and it was one heck of a bargain. Excellent picture with some minor calibration. Speakers are just OK but run through a AVR so it's not an issue for me. Remote is basic but again not really an issue with a universal remote being used. I would highly recommend this TV, it's no frizzles but outstanding picture and Samsung quality.

Disappointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited to find a Samsung product (I own two now and am very happy with both) with a 65 inch screen at such a reasonable price. I was set for an upgrade in size with the quality I was used to. Not the case. I can live with the minimal inputs, this unit is for movie viewing only. The picture quality, however, is substandard: grainy (after countless attempts at menu adjustments) with occasional artifacting and juddery motion even when all features are set to counteract these things. Plus, slight but still noticeable vertical banding. I should have known there'd be trouble when I noticed the uneven, ghostly streaks on the screen right out of the box, before I even plugged the unit in. Samsung, you have let me down. This beast is going back to Best Buy!

Great purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got a great deal on this 65 inch Samsung. Second Samsung purchased in two weeks. Sit 17 feet from the screen. Previously has a 7 year old item with a 56 inch that lacked the quality of this newer technology. Very happy and can even read the print on the screen.

Great big tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know you can't get something for nothing so price aside, this tv is great. No such thing as too big. Replaced a 42 inch tv with this and am so happy.

No frills, not enough inputs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the other reviewer said, this is a basic TV. Samsung has limited you 3 inputs plus the antenna. There are two HDMI and one component/composite input. So, if you have satellite, game and DVD, that's it. Don't plan on having AppleTV, another game system, or being able to easily connect a camera to display photos or videos. It does have a USB input, but you aren't going to hook up an iPod there. You can only connect a thumb drive to browse photo, video or audio files. I've had it for two days and I'm also considering taking it back and getting more options. All of that being said, if you don't have a need for multiple input and just want a simple, large television, then this TV is a great value for it's 65" size. I'm coming from a 52" DLP and I am impressed with the picture. BTW, that 5 year old Samsung DLP had two HDMI, two component, and two composite/AV inputs as well as the antenna in. I couldn't give it a 3-star, average rating, because the number of inputs is well below average.

Easy set-up and big screen with such a fair price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My son said only size matters so I ordered this big tv during Thanksgiving. Got it this Friday and spent more than 10 hours to adjust the quality of the picture in different ways and even searching ideas from internet but still not as good as my current 42" Vizio. The red color is so close to purple. I call Bestbuy and they are nice enough to pick-up for return. I ordered another Samsum (UN60ES7100FXZA) and will see whether this one can make us happy.

Width incorrect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I looked online and the width says 54" 1/8. It is 58. Too big for my 57" space in my wall. I am bumming out it is good looking but no good on my floor. I even called the store in Gilbert to verify the width. They confirmed it. It seemed too good to be true and it turned out it was!

Large Screen Poor Picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV as my third Samsung purchase. I currently own a Samsung 46" LCD and a Samsung 55" LED and have been very happy with both purchases. I got a great deal on both TV's through Best Buy. I saw this TV go on sale for $1500 and wanted to upgrade to a larger size TV for my family room. I got this TV and immediately noticed that the screen is matte. Both my previous Samsung's have gloss screens. I did not think this would be an issue, however the matte screen is noticeably duller. I never had any glare issues with the gloss screens. Additionally, the picture quality was sorely lacking. Both my other Samsung TV's picture quality far exceeds this TV. The colors do not seem to be fully accurate and are not vivid. I was not impressed with either HD TV #Direct TV# or blue ray. I made many adjustments on the set and was able to make the screen a little brighter, but the colors were still not vivid. The clarity is good, however the picture looks somewhat antiquated. I rarely write reviews, but I do not want anyone to go through the disappointment and hassle of purchasing this TV. For the price of this TV you can definately find better and in my opinion the larger screen size doesn't justify the price. It seems like Samsung sacrificed picture quality for screen size on this TV, this is not up to Samsung standards. I knew when purchasing this TV that it was a basic TV #2 HDMI inputs, no internet, etc# but I thought the picture would not have been sacrificed, I was wrong. Please see this TV in the store before purchasing, it will save you a lot of time and money.

Big screen with no WOW! factor for picture.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the TV don't get me wrong....I'm just a little disappointed in the lack of features....but you get what you pay for! That's why the set is so cheap....absolutely no features at all. Just an average set with no frills or WOW! factor. I like to brag when someone comes over and sees my new set......I won't be bragging about this unit. I have only had it for 3 days....I am still considering taking it back an getting something else. I loved my LCD Samsung 55"....this new Samsung LED does not have as good of a picture as my old one!

Get picture for the "sale" price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Over all is just a great low end Samsung TV, but disappointed that it only has 2 HDMI inputs and no Any-net device or BD wise options to link with other Samsung devices. Can live with it for the sale price paid, but would have pass if I knew of it's limitations.

Bad motion blur
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The size of this TV is massive however I was very disappointed with the the picture. If you primarily watch sports stay away! The motion blur and lag makes the TV unwatchable!! Thankfully, Best Buy took my exchange and I went with the 60 inch Plasma. GREAT DECISION!!!! 120HZ just cant compete with plasmas 600HZ IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE!

Embarrassingly bad picture quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV's picture is trash. It's the worst I've seen on an LED TV. Atrocious contrast in the darks. Visible vertical banding in solid colors. Pure junk.
