This TV has the best 4k picture I've seen other than the OLED's. Not a fan of the mini connect. They could've made 1 HDMI/ARC input built into the actual TV other than use the proprietary P.O.S. cable they include. I attached my mini connect with double sided tape to the Mount. Plenty of room to breath, no moving around. With that taken care of, this is 1 of the finest screens avail. With the friendly and ever so helpful staff at my local BB; I got a GREAT TV @ a GREAT PRICE. Thanks, Carly, Tony, Ben, & Chance

Best TV I've ever owned or even seen for that matter. I did lots of research before buying and had choices narrowed down to Samsung and Sony. This Samsung seemed to offer everything I wanted and once Black Friday sales prices hit, it was "Game on!" Beautiful lifelike picture and I just can't think of anything bad to say about this purchase or Best Buy for that matter. Special thanks to Jose', the Princeton store manager and Adam and Dan from the Geek Squad who did a terrific job setting up and mounting the TV.

Very good TV overall but disappointed in a number of the features and user interface. Notable, after a very aggressive sales pitch to simultaneously purchase a Sonos system for the audio, it turns out the Sonos is NOT compatible with the remote system for this tv. So you'll have to use your regular cable remote to operate the volume. Sort of ruins the purpose of having a cool RF remote when you have to pull out the clunky cable one to change the volume. Also, the control bars are not very intuitive to use, and we're pretty tech savvy. Overall 3.5 stars. Probably not worth the price tag but we're not returning it.

The picture itself, when filled with color and light, is amazing. The clarity, even with 1080p, is stellar. There's no blur, but I do use the Auto Motion Plus set to de-blur 10 and de-judder 2. Very bright and the contrast is nice. BUT, during a dark scene, there's noticeable clouding and the bottom-right screen has bad light bleed. For such an expensive TV, I expect better. Will be returning it or exchanging it.

The JS8500 series is well worth the extra money. I'm really impressed with the extra punch in the picture color that Samsung's SUHD model delivers. I returned an LG because I just wasn't impressed with the picture quality. I'm glad I did because this TV's picture is really impressive. (Don't confuse this set with their other model, the JU8500. The numbers are close enough that I even posted a review under the wrong model.)

This is the only Samsung SUHD 65" TV, so I did not have many options, since I knew I wanted a 65" Samsung TV. I bought it from the store and I could fit it in my Toyota Venza. I am 100% satisfy. The picture quality is perfect. sound is awesome. You just need to change the picture setting to the movie from the default. That's what Best buy recommended and it worked well for me. I enjoyed it so far.

Easy set up,network worked on the first try and with 4 HDMI inputs all our add ons were a breeze to hook up. I like the pointer option with the supplied remote and the fact that the Netflix app is already installed on this TV as well as some others that we'll take advantage of later on. So far,love this 4K TV.

This TV has a great picture, easy to set up, and lives up to all the hype.

I bought my TV around 2014 Thanksgiving sale after extensive research and reading reviews. I'm very happy with my purchase and loving it for a year now. Picture is crispy clear especially after trying out some 4K contents. Watching sports and movies took it to a new level of experience. I highly recommend getting a sound bar to make it a complete package.

GREAT TV AND I AM ON MY THIRD SAMSUNG BUT READ THE ISSUES DEALING WITH POOR HOME NETWORK CONNECTIVITY. MOST OF THESE SMART TV'S WILL NOT HAVE A FAST CONNECTION TO YOUR WI-FI NETWORK. THE TV ACTS LIKE IT CAN'T PROCESS WEB PAGES. DON'T GET ONE OF THESE TV'S IF YOU PLAN O USE IT TO BROWSE THE WEB. WOULD HAVE GIVEN 5 STARS BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY SAMSUNG CANNOT FIX THIS ISSUE. ALL MY SAMSUNG SMART TV'S HAVE THIS ISSUE.

Owned the TV for about 3-weeks and mostly used with Direct TV but Direct TV's 4 K service is not yet ready for the consumer market. Only two channels are available and the shows cost about $15.00 or more each to watch. Then there is the issue with the GENIE DVR box must me in another room than the 4K TV and then all other channels are reduced to 720p meant I canceled my 4K service with Direct TV and went on a hunt for 4K programming on the internet. The Samsung comes with preloaded APPs for Netflix and Amazon Plus and as luck will have it my wife subscribes to both so I was watching 4K shows in no time and it did not cost me a penny. My happiness soon faded when I detected sound drops every few seconds coming from the home entertainment sound system. I had properly connected the HDMI cable to the ARC HDMI port on the Samsung mini box but clearly there is a problem with the sound output from the Samsung so I tried the other three HDMI ports only to find no sound signal was received by the stereo. Eventually I stumbled onto the screen where you can choose which device port to send the sound signals. I switched to the TV speakers and the sound dropping problems was replaced by significantly poorer quality sound than the 5.1 PCM stereo. I next tried using the Netflix and Amazon APPs that are on the home entertainment system and everything worked flawlessly. I decided to call Samsung to see if they have a fix for their TV. They do have a fix. Add a fiber optics cable between the Samsung mini box and the home entertainment system and then choose the TV fiber output port on the TV. Next change the home entertainment system to receive the sound from the fiber optics port versus the HDMI port used to send the Direct TV video to the Samsung. This is a really expensive TV to have to be playing games to get it to work and makes it almost impossible for someone without detailed instructions to watch movies originating from and app then reconfiguring everything to watch Direct TV. That being said I love watching this TV. The colors and dynamic range of the video images is truly amazing.

This tv has excellent picture quality and sound. It makes watching movies an emersive experience even without the curved screen. I would recommend this tv for any movie watching fan.

All sets look great in the store because they have perfect high quality incoming signals. But at home the picture quality is exceptional, and it up scales regular DVDs and broadcast to look like they were originally done in 4K. Lots of good and easy adjustment capabilities so you can make the picture just the way you like it.

Bought the TV once the price dropped before Thanksgiving. Just got it today but the picture is awesome. Limited 4k content looks amazing, Blu-ray content looks great, and sports looked very good as long as the source was a high quality HD signal and not a sub par one like what was coming from the ESPN app on my old Apple TV.

Picture and usability is great. But, I wanted to connect a set of Samsung Bluetooth headsets and on both cases the quality of signal range is about 6 ft before it starts cutting out or even looses the signal all together. I've tried to work with both Samsang and best buy but to understand if it's a design issue or just this actual TV but they seem to not care. So I rate the TV as I see it.

This is an absolute fabulous TV and a picture that's nearly second to none. Especially for the money! In my case I bought this for a sale price of $1999. And with the size of the TV and the clarity and the features it has been nothing short of amazing. Anybody that buys will not be disappointed.

This television is attractive, well designed and produces a high-quality picture. The few things I have watched in 4k have taken the viewing experience to another plane. HD is excellent. And "To Catch a Thief" in non-HD was the best I have seen it. I think my next purchase will be a sound bar.

I bought this model in hopes of having a stunning UHD experience. Unfortunately there is very little UHD programming available. Using my cable provider and Tivo I have noticed some jittery pictures especially during action scenes. I have adjusted my Tivo to 1080i instead of 1080p in hopes of helping this problem out. I had an older 55" Samsung that never had this problem so I'm not sure if it is the way the new TV was setup by the Magnolia squad or if it because it is bigger TV or because of poor signal quality from my cable provider. I continue to adjust the settings in hopes that may help. I may have opted for the more expensive model knowing what I know now.

Incredible tv out of the box!!! I returned a 70" sharp uh30 for this tv and am happy I did!!! You will not be disappointed

Let me put it like this,I'm an avid movie watcher,and for anyone else out there that may have had a similar problem..here's your solution. .Buy this tv...Ive owned a mostly Sony tvs..which I've stood by that brand for years,..and purchased a 55" 850C 4k tv back in november...After a couple months..it just simply didn't satisfy me...Here's come the great part..Looking to invest in getting not only a bigger tv..but a much brighter picture..I searched through a million reviews and every brand has there ups and downs...But after extensive research...it came down to the Js8500...Noticed that the price dropped..I went into my local Best buy..sure enough there it was..Now...everyone knows you can't base a picture off a demo in store, So I took a chance, purchased the Tv, got it home..hooked everything up, adjust the settings using movie mode works best i have found..Popped in (The Hateful Eight on Bluray)...and all I can say is Wow, Best all around picture I've ever had..This Tv really brings the movie to life, So case in point, If your looking for a Great Tv to watch Sports,Movies and More, Treat yourself and invest like I did in this Samsung 4k Tv..You'll be glad you did!
