Amazing picture

Good at first.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv was excellent at first but after only 2 years, it started showing purple along the edges and a few broght spots on one side. Not a good thing after a short time for such an expensive tv.

Sound issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am on my 3rd tv and my sound still keeps dropping out about 3 or 4 times an hour. I had my tv provider come out and replace all equipment and they ran new cables. I have tried many different hdmi cables and it does it whether on my soundbar or running on the tv speakers It also cuts out on my ps3, ps4 and xboxone. I guess i will try a 4th one and see if i just got a bad batch. Any ideas why it keeps doing this would be greatly appreciated.

Five Years: Purple Haze to Graying Out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Five years and it’s shot. The picture has a gorgeous violet frame, and the entire picture is losing its brightness, which eliminates that nasty glare. Of course, I’m being facetious. We (our nuclear family members) have several other TVs, and they’re all fine. We had to have one other TV replaced, but it died within the period covered by the warranty. We had a Sony Trinitron that finally died after 20 years. I believe that Samsung, LG, and others are back to “planned obsolescence. As for the sound, the TV won’t link up with the sound bar anymore, so the sound is tinny and disappointing. Five years is not enough time!

Dead pixels within a week
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tv looked great, but had some weird functionality with turning off and on though. Sadly within a week I had dead pixels towards the center of the screen. Can't believe it went bad so fast, really miss plasma. I enclosed a pic to show the dead pixels.

Very Poor Picture Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading many reviews on this tv I thought this was the one for me. However after setup I noticed when they showed faces up close while watching the images were slightly blurry. Not something I would expect from a $2500 Samsung TV. It was enough to be so annoyed that I had to return it. This was my first 65 inch so I'm wondering if once you get to a certain size it then becomes distorted. Long story short I contacted Samsung customer support. We did a reset on the tv and changed picture modes. After that didn't work I looked online for custom settings none of which helped. It's an awesome looking tv with the silver border but the quality wasn't up to par. Returned this tv and went with the Saumsung 55 inch model UN55KS8000F. Love this tv and it is very clear for about $1700. I do recommend this one.

DOA
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After taking a hour unboxing and setting up, the tv would only get over the air programing. The mini box was dead. Samsung said they could send one out in about 2 weeks. I took the tv back to best buy after spending another hour reboxing.
