    Significant upgrade from my 12 year old TV. I read all the great reviews and I agree. Easy to understand all the excellent features. Added sound bar and can also play music from Smart TV features through my old stereo set. I was pleasantly surprised that I could combine nice features of my old equipment with a new updated TV.

    The LG OLED picture is better, but you can't pick one of those up for 2k. I also have a 55" JS7000 which is an ok set but doesn't come near the 8500. Samsung panels are generally terrible with motion judder but this one handles it very well without using the automotion or "soap opera effect". The smart remote is nice as well.

    Good tv, would be better if you could turn off the smart tv funtions. Audio is to low, and adjust through out viewing experience.
