This TV looks fantastic. Got it at a great price on black Friday week sale. The remote took a little getting used to. I haven't adjusted the settings that it defaulted to. The only issue I've seen so far is some white light or glow in the corners, similar to blooming. It's hardly noticeable though and I wouldn't use this as a reason not to get the TV.

My outstanding Panasonic ZT60 failed and I had to replace with a current LCD display. That is a tough replacement and it took me a few tries and LOTS of research to land at the Samsung JS8500. For my theater room, the curved screens just did not work. Among the flat panel displays, I also wanted to make sure I got a full 10-bit panel, for future proof this Fall with HD Blu-ray and the extended color depth. This TV is almost the only model available, aside from the Sony 930c and 940c which are quite a bit more expensive. It has taken me quite a bit more time to work through the menus and various screen settings (compared to the Panasonic), to get the proper calibrated viewing I was hoping for. The various ways that Samsung processes the image mean that you have to really read carefully and try different settings before landing on the right image for your preferred content. I'm not a fan of the external connection box and only use a single HDMI cable to my Yamaha receiver and the RF input (over-the-air HD is the best!). The connecter feels flimsy and easily breakable. In fact, I had to remove the TV from my Chief wall mount twice to replug the cable back in. I probably won't mess with it again, so I suppose I'll forget the inconvenience. Love the remote and how it feels in my hand. Easy to use and comfortable. The software updates have been regular and most services are flowing well. I do have issue with their Crackle app. The overall resolution is poor on the menus and the streaming is not great and poor quality. I can switch to my Sony blu-ray player and all is sharp and clear. Both are plugged in via wired Ethernet, so I can only assume the app is just not optimized yet for the Samsung Tizen OS. Only other issue has been getting consistent HMDI ARC response. The TV often switches back to the internal speakers at startup and I have to select through a couple menus to route back to my receiver. Again, hopefully software updates will clear that up. I look forward to trying HD Blu-ray on this very soon!

When I purchased the Samsung 8500 - I was questionable about the picture that was on display. When I opened it and hooked it up to my cable, the picture was the exact same! It is beautiful! Keep in mind when strategically placing the TV in your house to have it to where the sun light doesn't hit the screen. Due to the high gloss the glare is bad!

This is a superb set...the detail and depth on 3d is incredible. .I also purchased the new Samsung 4k blue ray player and three 4k hdr movies....all I can say is 5 stars......I also have a 70 in sharp aquos 1080p and I still love it ...but oh man does that samsung rock!

Had Samsung HD/TV 55"...just got the new S/4K/HD 65" and the picture quality is sharper and clearer mostly because the Black is much blacker now. also the colors now are like WOW-especially the Reds. Makes everything more brilliant and crisp. Major upgrade in the crystal screen technology. Very Impressive, Totally satisfied with my purchase.

I decided to purchase this tv when prices went down $500 and decided that the offer is too good to pass out. Picture is excellent, upscaling is marvelous, and the build quality is very high. The one connect box makes wall-mounting a bit of a problem if you are trying to hide wires from showing, but other than that, i am very happy with the tv

The picture is great. Set up instructions are clear set up is fairly easy. The remote is simple to use. I would recommend this television.

I bought the Samsung UN65JS8500, here some remarks: - next day delivery worked - picture quality outstanding - I watched 4K on YouTube: amazing! - great sound for a flat panel - the remote is like a Wii (Nintendo game controller) - one pair of 3-D glasses included - screen is a bit reflective I'm happy I decided to get this TV,

My old 51" projection tv was slowly going bad. I looked at Sam's club and Best Buy for products and Consumer Reports for their reviews. I boiled it down to a 60 inch Samsung 4K as the best value for the money. However, Best Buy put their 65" 4K on a bigger sale and it looked good from Consumer Reports standpoint. I checked to find a Besy Buy store that had both the 60 and 65 in stock so I could look at both. The store was not local, but I traveled to it anyway. The 60 and 65 at the store looked great, but the price on the 65 was hard to beat so I decided to spend the extra on the 65. I customized the picture the suggested way Consumer Reports suggested (firmware being different between what was on the new Samsung tv and what CR had on their test) that picture was just below great, so I set it back the what Samsung set at the factory and it was great. Note that I saw the screen get dark as the day went on and to me it got too dark. I turned off the auto adjust for room lighting and the screen went bright again. After that adjustment it has a beautiful image and is a joy to watch. This is after having the set less than two months.

At first I was very hesitant to pay up for a 4k TV, but once you see how well the TV upscales HD sources you will be sold. Cant say enough how good the picture quality is and finally a quality remote for a TV. Note if you have a Comcast box the TV integrates many of the onscreen guides so you do not have to use both remotes.

I upgraded from a 54-inch Samsung HDTV to this 65-inch Samsung. I am very happy with the picture quality and the ease at which I can not access Amazon Prime. My previous Samsung remote control had more than 60 buttons, the new one has less than 10 and is much more user friendly. No regrets in buying this tv from Best buy

This 4K Ulta Hd 3D TV is absolutely stunning to look at even when the screen is off. The body of the monitor is beautiful and the display with 3D surpassed all my expectations. I have been very happy with the purchase as my whole family can watch sports and movies on it easily (65"). Also great for playing video games!

The Samsung UN65JS8500 is a great TV overall. Tv does not due well upconverting Dish Network since a lot of ghosting around people's faces. I believe this is an issue with Dish though because Netflix resolution is crisp and sharp on all programming. The color pop in this tv is far greater than any Sony I have seen. Bad reviews on the black level of this tv does not do it justice. It may be no OLED but blacks are really great in my opinion. Definitely better than I experienced on the Sony 850c. The only really negative thing I can say about this tv is there is a minor banding issue on some scenes and the tv does not handle really dark scenes well as you end up getting a lot of pixelation in those scenes. Overall great and input lag is really low and plays first person shooter games on PS3 really really well when game mode is activated.

The picture quality and features are great for this TV. The Samsung customer service is a joke. Best Buy was very helpful. The TV needed to be upgraded out of the box before it would work. Even though the TV has remote maintenance capable, Samsung could not update remotely. I could reach the upgrade from the TV's web browser, but could not upgrade from there. You have to download the file to your PC, extract the file and put on a thumb drive I had to provide unless I wanted to wait 2 weeks for them to send me one with the update. This took 3 of their techs to figure this out. 2 day to get a TV to work out of the box....beyond ridiculous!!!! When I expressed my displeasure with Samsung, they responded with "that is the best we can do."

My wife and I decide to buy this Samsung UN65JS8500FXZA LED we are so happy with it, I recommend this tv if you have some experience with electronics that require Wi-Fi and HDMI connections, besides that it, easy to operate, it has the best picture you can imagine, we are very satisfy with this purchase.

Saw this TV at the home of my Son and was awe struck by the colors, clarity and everything else. He had last years model so the people at Best Buy helped me with this years model and also gave me pointers on the cables needed and showed me a great Blu-Ray player on sale. GEEK Squad for sure on this one.

I spent several months searching for the perfect tv. I finally narrowed my choice down to this Samsung or an LG. I already have an LG so I'm familiar with it and it's quality picture. Decided on this one because of the price and the SHUD quality. Best tv I could find without spending upwards of $5,000.

This tv has great picture adjustments and 3D features. Love the smart remote. Sound quality is also very adequate.
