Remote not working

It didn’t come with a “charger” for remote because I’m assuming of it being solar power but the solar power charging doesn’t always work for us. We’re on day 2 of the charger not working and now I’m staring at a $1000 tv without a remote to use it. Disappointing. I tried connecting the Samsung Remote app but it isn’t compatible with Hulu live and so I’m unable to watch live tv. Also impossible to get a hold of someone at Best Buy to help

Thank you for your review of Samsung’s Q60A TV and for sharing your experience with your remote not working. If you press any key on the remote, and the LED indicator at the top of your remote stays on for about 3 seconds rather than blinking, please try the following steps to reset your remote:
Long press the RETURN key and ENTER key together for about 10 seconds you’re your remote was once paired already with the TV, you do not need to re-pair it again. However, if it was not paired with the TV, pairing must be done after the reset.
The RETURN key is on the left side of your remote and looks like a curved, backwards pointing arrow.
The ENTER key is the button in the center of your directional ring.
