    Horrible service as TV failed within less than 2-years of operation. There was no external damage, whatsoever, that is the de facto response. I’ve been a client of Best Buy for decades. Not any longer. Amazon has now my business.

    Back Light Bleeding

    The TV is fine if you are watching during the day. It has horrible back light bleeding which means you can see the light behind the TV screen come through. It is only noticeable during dark scenes or movies but its super annoying either way.

To optimize your picture quality, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1805.4 which includes picture quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.

      Additionally, there are image adjustments you can make to optimize your picture to suit your preferences. Your TV has several Picture Modes to choose from allowing you to enjoy content in optimal conditions. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode

      You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > Contrast Enhancer to manually fine tune your image.

      If adjusting image settings does not improve your picture, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for TVs), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.

    After two years this tv died, the screen when dark, cost to mucho to fixed Technician says that Samsung tv are having a lot of problems….really no happy about this

    Decent TV for the price, but I notice some dark areas in the backlight during white or light colored scenes. Unfortunately it took some time to really notice this, and the return period is over. Should have returned it when I could, and bought a Sony.

You can check this by going to Settings > Support > Software Update or you can enable Auto Update for convenience.

      If the picture you are seeing is still not to your liking after performing any necessary firmware updates, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.

      You can select the Picture Mode that provides the best viewing experience. Go to Home > Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      1) Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments.
      2) Natural: Reduces eye strain for a comfortable viewing experience.
      3) Movie: Is suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room.
      4) Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      5) Filmmaker Mode: You can watch the source content (e.g., movie) as it is. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it will automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

      You can also go to: Settings > Picture > Expert Settings > to manually fine tune your image.

    Getting blue screen
