Not bad a TV for the price

The remote control however is rather inconvenient and difficult (in terms of understanding the functions of various buttons) to use even though nicely simplified and compact. Plenty options on the home screen that perhaps need more explanation how to use.

Not good. I made the mistake of buying on line for in store pickup and it took them 3 days to move it 100 feet from their stockroom to the front door. Buy Amazon and you'll get it quicker and easier and won't have to leave your house

Get Best Buy warranty backing for a great tv

Had the same tv failed after two years of use and couldn’t get any relief from Samsung But we loved the tv bought it this time with Best Buy warranty and I a very pleased

Disappointed

The volume level settings has been a problem and consistently varies with stations and the remote is not user friendly or easy to use. Our LG 65” performs better, is more Intuitive to use and the picture is a higher quality.

Thank you for your review of Samsung's Q60A TV. I apologize for the inconveniences you have had with the inconsistent sound volume.
The Auto Volume function automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to: Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On
You may also want to perform a Sound Test under Support > Self Diagnosis > Start Sound Test
To optimize your TV's audio, please be sure your firmware is up to date with version 1807.2 which includes sound quality updates. You can check this by going to: Settings > Support > Software Update.
To assist you in learning the various features, functions, and settings of your TV and remote, you can download the Q60A TV's User Manual, e-Manual, Remote Control Leaflet, and Quick Setup Guide on Samsung's website under ‘Support’ (top right corner) > Manuals & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can select the Q60A TV under QLED 4K TVs > A Model Lineup to download the guides you would like. The e-Manual is also embedded into the TV itself under Settings > Support > Open e-Manual.

clouding light bleed and poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i owned this tv for 3 months over the three months i had to have the panel replaced twice because of bad clouding and lightbleed on the 2nd panel i gave up and asked samsung to give me a refund under the warranty. samsungs tv,s over the years have gone down hill in quality they are built cheap too i ended up getting an lg nanocell 80 series and guess what ? no clouding and very i mean very little light bleed all led tv,s will have some sort of bleed but samsungs tv,s are absolutely ridiculous with it. i dont think i will ever purchase another samsung tv again its lg from now on for me.

I will make this short and sweet for any considering this model, THE SOUND QUALITY IS HORRIBLE. I returned the TV thinking it was a defect, only to have the identical model produce the same quality.

Didn’t Last 2 Weeks

Black horizontal lines appeared at the top of the screen out of nowhere and it turned everything below it green. Used to be big fan of Samsung but their recent products seem very poorly made.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Q60A TV. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing a power cycling issue where your TV is turning itself on and off repeatedly.
Please try a few troubleshooting steps that may help solve the issue:
1) Check the power cable for damage and proper connection.
2) If the cable is bent, broken, kinked, pinched, pressed excessively (possibly by a heavy object on top of it) or damaged, this is likely the cause of the issue. Replace the cable.
3) Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 30 seconds, and then plug it back in.
4) If the power cycling allows enough time in between powering on and off, try updating the TV to the latest firmware. There is a risk, however. If the TV turns off during the software update, it could damage the TV. Updates can take up to 30 minutes depending on network speed, so if the TV is not turning off too frequently, try updating the software.
5) TVs which can connect to SmartThings can be turned on using compatible devices, sometimes automatically. However, if abnormal "power on" signals are sent through the wireless network, they will trigger this function and make the TV turn on. If you do not want this function, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Expert Settings > Power On with Mobile, and turn the setting off.
